I own one since a year and use it for commuting. Cost of ownership is extremely high at least here in Europe, My last 20000km maintenance cost was 1100€! Other than that fun to drive but nog worth the price.
What did you change and after 20k is the acceleration still as smooth? Or is it jerky? I used to own a Kymco downtown 200 and it’s jerky after few miles. What about normal oil change servicing? How much does it cost? Thought of owning one
Nothing bmw sells is worth the price after warranty is up if it’s not a M model. Key with these is to do work yourself but bmw thought about it by installing software that only dealer can access to reset.
@@chrisw4215xmax 300 is smaller, i am 198cm (6ft6) and on Xmax my legs are on the way of the handlebars when turning. On BMW I have a lot of room between. Also the stretched leg position, for me it was useless on Xmax, couldnt do it at all, and on BMW I found it nice.
@@RaAlby I simply love scooters but unfortunately sold my xmax300. scooters are probably not for me due to the body position when you ride on them. all road imperfections end up on my lower back and can't ride for too long. maybe BMW is better but cant check it
Scooters are just top heavy, and there’s no low center of gravity. And the wheels are way, way too small if you couldn’t avoid a big and or deep pot hole; it will destroy you and the bike.
I don't understand why the storage can't be bigger, it is much bigger on the xmax 300; also why no automatic windscreen and cruise control?

I want to buy one of these things so darn badly right now people
Great review. I'm 6ft4, and BMW scooters are the only scooters I ride.
You mean forza 300 or xmax 300 is smaller than this scooter?
I'm 6ft4 too. I wish these big ones were more affordable.
Even at 6ft with a 34in inseam it’s hard to find something comfortable to ride

German engineered, baby!
Made in china, baby!
No, it’s made in Taiwan baby
what is her heigh?
❤️❤️❤️❤️
350 but call it a 400? That's misleading for 9k
Yamaha XMAX for 4000 dollars less is the way to go
It's made in China, BMW in badge only.
HighCountry Pioneer it’s only “put together” in China.
Damn China! They got everything!
So what?
For a kymco engine,is very expensive!!!
It's a solid engine though I test rode one and it's a premium product
Instead of explaining about the vehicle, simply she rides. 🙄

What are you talking about? Scooters are the opposite of top heavy! They have the engine and transmission under the butt of the rider.
