Look at what ALT does to the backside on the Gus TD. Holds his down block and the backside one guy with each arm turning a 3 yard loss into a TD. “Tackles are weapons” as Harbaugh said… well now I believe him. Let’s draft Omarion Hampton RD 1 and a center and a guard in the 2nd and 3rd. They can both be tackles with positional versatility as our interior 3 had a combined run grade of 27.1 on PFF and pass grade was 39 while alt and slater were in the 80s
COACH: TRULY ALL PRO PLAY BY JOE ALT As a coach, you should point out on the Gus 5 yard TD that the backside RT ALT held his 5 tech man AND with his other arm stopped the backside edge from blowing up the play in the backfield.
@@TheCoachPlays He is doing excellent. A little concern in CLE but otherwise, A+. I am so glad we got him. Would not be surprise if he got a pro-bowl nom. ⚡
EXAMPLE OF WEARING DOWN A TOP 5 DEFENSE: The ISO was a whiff by the Denver Mike trying to go around a block thus road blocking his fellow Will backer instead of taking on the FB and shedding properly. This created a yard wide hole with nobody within 10 yards north and allowed Gus to build a head of steam. You stick with the run and slam 290 lb defensive tackles converted into FBs into the Mike, by the 4th quarter they don’t want that smoke anymore
nah QJ blocked his guy, Ladd shouldve gone and block 27 instead of double blocking the guy QJ was on. Even is QJ blocked the guy who tackled Vidal, Surtain or #27 where going to tackle him
Bro... im not sure what your talking about. Herbo has been doing this for 4 years.. reason why he will break the record on passing yards this weekend above Payton and morino
Oh my gosh Matlock What a fine he was he just knows when they hit open a hole and make everything look like it was a perfect design

Our 2024 draft class really stood out (McConkey, Vidal, Alt, and Still). ⚡
How has Alt been? I was really hoping the Titans would get him. Latham has been solid though

Beautiful
@ thx coach
If Quentin actually does his job and blocks ONE guy in that first clip, the inner is gone.
