I absolutely love this couple..I started watching HGTV, because of the property brothers, then i started watching these two and love their relationship and the transformation of the homes they did, and just being who they are, I'm so sad they are no longer on HGTV, but I'm extremely happy and proud of them and their accomplishments, and beautiful family congratulations to them and their success, love this couple always, and if i ever get to texas i will surely try and find this amazing couple, God's LOVE, God's Blessings, God's Purpose, Chip and Joanna Gaines..

I loved fixer upper. Its a show that oddly got me through a bad depression after the loss of my grandfather who I lived with and was very close to. My entire life I’ve wanted to move to LA and pursue my dreams of working in animation. He was a big supporter and would ask me constantly when I would move out there. When he passed last march I decided to pack up my life and go out there. My grandma was gonna sell our house and i just turned 28 and started dating my now fiancé so i figured its time to try it out before its too late. I moved out there a year ago the 29th of this month and had a great paying work from home job. Unfortunately i got laid off the end of march and couldnt find any work at all. After months of struggling we had to move back home and into my fiancé’s mothers upstairs apartment. Throughout the entire time living in LA we always watched fixer upper. It was so calming in a weird way. I think because my grandfather was always building stuff doing yard work and other things around the house. So it was a sweet reminder of him. My family constantly is trying to get me to believe in god and put my dreams in his hands but i have a very very hard time believing in it after all the hell I’ve been through in my life. Maybe one day..

The DIY and fixer upper type shows are much more down to earth and really more relaxing...some would say “boring”...but they reach a place in most people’s psyche who embrace “HOME”.

I love and admire Chip and Joanna Gaines, a great deal...They're genuine, honest, down-to-earth, a wonderful couple, hard workers and exemplary parents.
We absolutely love Chip and Joanna! Fixer Upper was my favorite show! We really miss seeing them on their show and watching their family grow! Watching them each week brought joy to our hearts as we watched Fixer Upper as a family. Joanna and Chip are very talented!
Im an old construction worker and im not the kinda person to watch home improvement shows but in 2013 while stumbling threw the TV channels i stopped to watch J and C in fixer upper and loved these two awesome young people many blessings to you both and your family

I just realized why I thought Meghan Markle looked familiar. Maybe its just me, but with the straight on (full face) smiles...I see a resemblance between she and Joanna when they smile. Faces full of life and happiness, but dark hair, perhaps a few freckles, eyes that light up. I love Chip and Joanna, and Meghan and Harry, (and Will and Kate). I miss seeing Chip and Joanna do their magic. I hope maybe they could start doing a yearly Thanksgiving or Christmas show. I'm Australian and only came across Fixer Upper a few months ago. It must have been a 'God thing' as I stopped watching TV about 6 months ago. I fell in love with the Chip and Joanna and I look forward to each program. Watching this I found Fixer Upper has been cancelled and I was heartbroken. However, it's way more important to follow God where He leads and to have a childhood dream become a reality just testifies to our awesome Lord and Saviour's care. I hope they keep showing Fixer Upper on TV, but knowing Aus, we're a bit slow here, so I think we'll keep seeing them for awhile.....I hope!! I pray God's blessings upon the whole family.

We have a “weekend ranch” (or “station” as my Aussie mates might say) about 20 miles from their home outside of Waco. Drive right by it on our way into “town”. When they were filming at their home, it was obvious by all the production personnel and vehicles. Lots of fun. Their popularity brings an estimated 18,000 visitors a month to their Silo Market and new-opened restaurant.
BTW...Aussies and Kiwis have always reminded me of “Texans from Down Under”...great nations and wonderful folks!
