Yeah! It's really frustrating but ultimately for the better good. Having a lapse in judgement on the field could cause a lot of harm. People like us are needed elsewhere ❤️
Any advice for making a "meet us" video? One of our alters recently came out to the world about us being plural (without system permission) so now we are rolling with it. We want to make a simple video answering questions but I have no idea where to start. Especially with software and the like. Great video. Keep up the good work.
Maybe ask people online (using Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram) or people you know to submit questions to answer or set up something more like what we did where each alter answers a set of questions. Basics like name, nickname, age, role, favorite color/food/music, etc. Just make sure everyone is comfortable and feels safe 😊
hi there, I just discovered I might be a system/have osdd and gender fluid perhaps?? and I have learned a lot from your videos and appreciate you taking the time to educate others ❤️ I relate to Kai a lot and would love to learn more about how you communicate with your alters or learned you were a system? sending love and many blessings ✨
Thank you so much for reaching out! We really appreciate it. I'd definitely recommend therapy, if possible, specifically with someone who has experience with trauma and DID/OSDD. That can be hard to find and too expensive, but that would be a very helpful resource if it's something you can do! We communicate in the headspace or with written notes. We have a journal specifically for the purpose of alter communication. It helped us discover new alters and make system decisions as well as just learn more about ourselves/each other. I (Kai) found out I had DID because I noticed time gaps and amnesia, and I also was being told I was moody but didn't understand why. I started hearing the other alters clearly in 9th grade and that's when things started to click that something was going on. I did lots and lots of research and talked to multiple therapists before realizing it was Dissociative Identity Disorder. Again, we appreciate you reaching out. If you want to talk more feel free to DM us on Instagram! @kai_and_co_27 Lots of love ❤️
National center for analysis of violent crime ❤️ I wanted to work there too, but couldn't also because of my mental illness.
