LKB 4C and 5C is what I recommend the most.
For tall Mono lights, get the 5C and place them vertically for easy access

Absolutely fantastic video. I was looking for a case for my pair of Amaran 200x S lights but the LKB-5C looked too big. Found out about the LKB-4C from your video and the configuration examples showed it would fit great. Used your affiliate link to pick one up. Thank you for the thorough video and assembly tips!

we appreciate ur exhaustive reviews. i started using the godox lc500rs and the impact 4c bag after watching ur reviews.
...apropos, as a crippled filmmaker, it would be cool to see a vid for gear that is easier to work w for ppl w back pain.
in any case, thanks for sharing your experiences w us

Thanks man. As a matter of fact, I also suffer from back pain. It’s BAD. Unfortunately, there’s no light load, cases etc or easy stuff to carry in professional video. You should see my load LOL. I can’t even see the rear window on an SUV 😆

This is exactly what I was looking for! On the Impact #2 Bag I'm wondering if you could even make your own walls to make it a little more rigid / secure using cardboard or something for cheap. I think I might try that out!

newfoundmass thanks for dropping a comment! Actually, that’s what I’m going to do! That bag is nice and I love the long shape. And for $39? 4 packs of cigarettes cost MORE that this bag! I think what’s inside the dividers on the LKB series are a sheet of Plexi glass with foam glued on it. I’m definitely going to make walls for that bag. Maybe Impact will consider making the walls... also consider buying the LKB 4 or 5. You CANT go wrong with those. I really like them. Less than $90!

@@ArtVideoProductions great minds think alike! You should do a video showing how you do it! That'd be awesome. I was thinking of some kind of cardboard or corkboard, cover it in felt maybe and then add some velcro. I can't imagine it'd cost much more than $20!

@@ArtVideoProductions oh and I'm leaning towards the #2 Bag mostly because I like the idea of being able to fit some extra stuff in it along with my 3 Godox SL 60W. :)

Would you still recommend these bags in 2023?

When it comes to bags and cases, it’s not about the year, it’s what kind of bag you need. Is it for a 2x1 panel? Or to store cables? COB lights? Light stands?
The “technology” on bags / cases don’t change. What changes is how high end or low end they are, so, the price is tagged accordingly. You can choose a $400 bag for a C Stand, or some people on a budget get a $30 tripod bag to improvise. I hope that helped.
