Great stuff my man! It was cool to differinate where we get our leather compared to in China. The scope of it is just crazy over there. Looked like you could find any sort of leather made from any hide from any origin and tanned in any which way. Really cool. Didn't know Crease Group had an office there either. Cool of them to go on this journey and love the interesting fact about leather early on. Seems like the luxury market has a lot of those facts that are either hidden or aren't well known hahah. Excited to see the finished leather bags!
Love your content man. Quick question though, how do you decide on a particular fabric among the sea of options present? Don't you get confused because there are so many good options, it's like the more you see the more you get puzzled. How do you know when to stop?
None of these spots are really online - need to speak mandarin, or have a translator go there. Why I made the trip is internet limits you in getting to the good stuff - I still have to have someone who speaks mandarin do all the comms. If helps, Before I had a manufacturer I hired someone on Upwork who spoke mandarin to hunt down stuff for me and was cheap
You find them by looking for them, and there's not really any issues getting what you think you get - these vendors have been there for years and their business depends on you purchasing bulk from them.
Are you planning on dropping the red Valuable shirt in the beginning of the videos ? The washed is amazing. ( I saw one red shirt on your website but it doesn't seems to be this one)
Yeah originally South Africa and UK originally but in China now - Yaw stays primarily in Guangzhou, John in US, Jack from China, then designers I work with their in Mexico City - interesting group, very global!
Wait your crew is South African? The accents... Hey from South Africa. And thanks for the amazing content. Still watching was just caught off guard by hearing SA accent lol.

How can one be sure that you get what you think you get at those markets? And, how to find the premium premium quality leather and fabrics?

Yeah didn’t make video on it but most of what I’m trying to do for winter is fine wool
3:14 that leather would look crazy on a watch roll
$150 a sheet is crazy - can't wait to use it
