Tiny tiny suggestion, don't cut your video so drastically. At 1:10 and 1:14 you say the word "reference" twice, but you also clip your video before finishing the word. It's kinda jarring to hear it so quickly in succession, especially when expecting the full word because of the subtitles. But it's something I've noticed in a few of your videos. Big fan of the content though, it's just because I've been watching lots of your stuff that I've noticed it!

There is something missing in your video, I strongly suggest everyone to understand the difference between an art director & a creative director before anything. Its hard to understand it but let me try to be clear here : Creative director: you think, you don't apply. you work with a concept: who's this girl? what emotion do I want to give? Art director : you do apply an idea : you pay tribute to a certain pose, composition, light, color, anything. work on both aspects & you'l have a work with texture. anything else can be good if you're lucky, but I hate basing myself on luck. I'm a photographer who also worked as art director for Nodaleto. it was one of the worst experiences I ever had. but I usually take out the positive from situations, this is the only good thing that I learned, it was worth it.

This a great approach, however, wouldn't the brand run the risk of constantly chasing trends? I wonder if a more comprehensive strategy would include revising the brand strategy, repositioning the brand with a new brand stance, re-assessing tone and voice for messaging before getting into any kind of marketing so that you can at least anchor your decision making on how it aligns with that strategy. Just a thought, and not suggesting I have the answer here.

i dont think you can talk about advertisement without talking about the current political situation, the rise of the far right in the Americas and Europe is dividing and harming culture. An "old world" car brand, that usually goes for pretty machismo values in their ads and very stereotypical manliness going colorful, queer and genderinclusive is a rare thing, and feels like a breath of fresh air, when we would all have expected something much more traditional and sinister. The fact that this made headlines and shook all of the conservative media simply by being inclusive in their casting does actually connect me to their brand a lot more, it feels like they are standing up for something. In French we have saying wich means: "being liked by everybody is being liked by anybody", not sure if the English translation makes sense but meaning that your work would be rather average if everybody like it

Can you do a video on advertising art? For example, I am an illustrator and my product may be a print, sticker or keychain. Prints and stickers are relativity pointless objects. Maybe I can take a picture of my print in a cool room or place my sticker on a guitar…I feel like its difficult bc the product could easily be outshined in the composition. could you offer insights on creating more emotive and memorable advertisements for a simple product like this?
