Family is so important especially when tradition s are handed down about true living. We all know in Idaho, Wait 10 min. It will change. Snow in mountains in May still. Idaho has so many hidden gems. Countless places to go, camp, hunt and fish. Off road ATV or Canams. Thank you for sharing.
Wowzers..your family DEFINITELY has a very very... beautiful homestead right there. That little river flowing all the time is so amazing that close to the cabin. Whoa..pure heaven! Thanks for sharing 👍
This makes me sorry I never visited Idaho, I would of stayed. Very beautiful place grandpa has created for his descendants, you guys are lucky he loves you so. ❤❤❤from Michigan
Very cool. Cherish those moments with your grandfather. He has built something special in those hills. Keep it in the family. Maybe one day you will be up there with your grand kids. Great video
Very nice and cozy . My wife is from Mountain Home , Idaho, this video made her homesick and has promised me she's gonna take me back and show me around God's Country lol . Iam gonna hold her to that , I can't wait . Love your video very much, want to see more . From Trenton , Georgia Happy Trails 👣
I feel like crying, but in a good way. This is perfect! I like the feeling. I would definitely live there with my son. Beautiful. Gorgeous. Perfect job.
Absolutely beautiful! My husband says that doesn't look like Idaho. But I disagree. Can you please tell me what region of Idaho the beautiful property is located?
Our little family of five is moving into a cabin here soon and I am fairly certain it’s a neighboring cabin to this one , those hills are just too familiar 😉💜💫
We're both retired, living off the grid in central, eastern ID, 3 hrs due S of Hamilton. Living off the grid, with a mini hydro (pelton wheel) has it's pluses and minuses. Town is 50 miles away. Well dug, FIL never hooked it to the house, so we get drinking water/spring from neighbor 3m up the road. We have a very large creek along the house, and a smaller one perpendicular to that, pretty helpful. Your "river" there, looks like a creek, not a river.
Music is too loud, would much prefer to hear the brook (creek) and the birds. Thank you for sharing your grandpa's cabin, I'm sure he's had many years of fond memories with family and friends.
Love the cabin and surrounding area. I'm in a wheelchair now so watching the trail part was very cool and reminded me of treks I used to take. Yes more videos please. Oh great music too.
He should dig out the river and dam up to keep the height and let the water just flow over the dam, that way he could actually take a dip the that creek
I was pretty surprised that there was no real kitchen in the cabin, just a microwave. No refrigerator or does he use the stream to keep things cold? Is this an elevation where there would be a lot of snow in the winter? I did see quite a few ways to cook outside but not sure if that would work in a snowy winter environment.
Love the set up but alarm bells when l saw the out house !!, That is so illegal, in most countries. Here in New Zealand the minimum distance is 30 meters (approx 100 feet) from a waterway. Waste contamination- gross. We are setting up cabins on our off the grid property. We have a lot of natural waterways and ditches to plan around when abiding by the rules around waterways verse human waste, and grey water. However l feel us Kiwis are a million light years ahead of most countries when it comes to respecting our natural habitat, and co-existing with nature without polluting it.
Nice cabin, but criminal that so much of the riverside vegetation has been removed. This destroys fish habitat by removing shade and cover, and also allowing the water temperature to rise too much in summer.
Criminal, huhhh. Looks like a small rocky stream with an over head canopy. Having less vegetation for 10-20 yard over the length of a stream that is thousands of yards long (or even miles) isn’t going to destroy the fish population. Get off your high horse.

Please revisit in the winter with snow on the ground. Absolutely beautiful!
Beautiful land out there. That is one cool cabin. Indeed a place to retire to. Thanks for showing us.
So fortunate to have such an awesome place , retirement would be a dream here, just love this!

Wonderful place your Gramps has. Time to sit around the fire and have him tell you stories from his life. Thanks
Very cool. Cherish those moments with your grandfather. He has built something special in those hills. Keep it in the family. Maybe one day you will be up there with your grand kids. Great video

Impressive I just love it I know a lot of work went into this property kudos to your grandpa
Quite a beautiful place to hang out....as long as it doesn't snow. I am done with snow.
One of the most beautiful setups I have ever seen!
Wow this is a beautiful property and cabin. Extremely unique.
I feel like crying, but in a good way. This is perfect! I like the feeling. I would definitely live there with my son. Beautiful. Gorgeous. Perfect job.

Beautiful property. I could live there for sure.
Beautiful area!
Sweet. Pops built an all-American forest retreat!
Thank you for showing us your cabin.
Love this tour
That's cool I love videos like this
Absolutely beautiful! My husband says that doesn't look like Idaho. But I disagree. Can you please tell me what region of Idaho the beautiful property is located?
South east Idaho!
Our little family of five is moving into a cabin here soon and I am fairly certain it’s a neighboring cabin to this one , those hills are just too familiar 😉💜💫
It’s a paradise ❤️❤️❤️
What a RAD video! great job!
Awesome. Life goal for sure.
Suh-WEET! Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful, I'd stay there forever working from home, if there was a strong internet connection and phone reception
Nicely done.
What a Dream! Sign me up!
Great site.
Music is too loud, would much prefer to hear the brook (creek) and the birds. Thank you for sharing your grandpa's cabin, I'm sure he's had many years of fond memories with family and friends.
thats awesome
Looks like the perfect place to prospect for gold 😎
Stunning place
sweet little cabin in a beautiful little spot. I would try and have me a garden or a greenhouse and raise a few animals though.
Very nice place bro.
Love the cabin and surrounding area. I'm in a wheelchair now so watching the trail part was very cool and reminded me of treks I used to take.
Yes more videos please. Oh great music too.
This is very nice place to live
Amazing!
Dude this is perfect AND dude I get nothing but the feeling of good vibes there. So happy for you 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful,,
Looks like a little sanctuary
Awesome
Too bad you didn't cover the "off grid" power, water and septic solutions used.
I wanna live with Grandpa... 😍😍😍
How high does the creek get???
dope AF.
He should dig out the river and dam up to keep the height and let the water just flow over the dam, that way he could actually take a dip the that creek
Similar to northern New Mexico, my home away from home 💚
Very cool.
How do those propane tanks get filled? Seem a little far from the road/driveway
They have a long hose
Sweet
Très beau.
Nice place
😍🤩Love the cabin..... I don't like your soundtrack music at all! Here is one you should have played, Private Idaho by the B-52s
awesome place! Thanks for sharing!
Adorable

Yes and he has a cooler up there to keep stuff cold! Yes there is a lot of snow in the winter. Only snowmobiles can get up there!
Dope
Where do you get your drinking water from?
He could put rows of solar in that open lot to grab the sun and send power down to the cabin.
👍👍👏👏
very nice! I would have liked you to go slower when you pan the video. Outhouse seems way too close to the stream for sanitation purposes.
👌👌🏻
Yes, it is a creek.
Was there dolor panels? I may have missed that part
No there is only power if the generator is on!
What is the size of the cabin (square footage)?
Wow
Which county or nearest town is this in
A peice off as close as u can get to heaven
'Off grid' fallacy. Who's grid do you use to fill your propane and gasoline?
Hey what are the dimensions of the main building
Dream ♥️😄👏
Cant be “completely” off grid! You have a monster TV and Dish!!!
Nice place though
Hey kid, it’s not a River… it’s a crick (creek) the Clearwater River IS a River.
Is it for sale?
Isnt that out house to close to the water
The outhouse Is very close to the water.
Very lonely if he is by himself
Beautiful cabin and location
Where is the Chicken?
Looks like a big pain in the ass for the propane delivery guy.

Million light years ahead and yet you don’t have free speech and aren’t a free society. Cool story
@@Mrtyguy Good answer....
:)
The fake logs in the loft look cheesy.
