£1000 BMW E93 Convertible (Part 1) + Alpina D3 Update & Autodoc Unboxing

In todays video I pick up a 2009 BMW E93 320d (N47) Convertible thats in quite a sorry state having been sat in a garden for about a year.
I did some initial diagnoses to see how bad it is. Potentially looking at needing a new Turbo, Glow plug module and roof pump.
There is also an update on the Alpina, which has caused me some more issues after 400 trouble free miles. I also ordered some suspension parts from Autodoc which I unbox at the end.

Hi Neil, is the timing chain noisy on the Alpina?

No, but I’m having it done as preventative maintenance in August, along with a new clutch, flywheel and vacuum lines.
