    Hi Neil. I've just subscribed having just enjoyed the resurrection of your Primera on Johnny's channel, and I see you're also a Geoff Buys Cars family member! Great stuff, looking forward to seeing what happens with the Nissan, and checking out your other content!

      Thanks Chris. Glad you have come on board. I will try to get an update video out this week on the Primera. Nothing to report as yet but I do have plans.

    I was going to go for a D3 Biturbo, I just love the whole ethos. I watched loads of videos (including yours) but I just couldn't convince the missus to get an older car than the one we already had. In the end we went for the 'poverty spec' (Super) Alfa Giulia 2.0TB. Of course I couldn't leave it alone :) and I had it remapped. It's a load of fun (insert all the clichés regarding steering, handling, etc. lol) unfortunately it's plagued by the usual electrical gremlins which I think is water getting in somewhere.
    I digress, good to see you've had the work done and the remap, what's it pushing now then, 260-270 ponies?

      Thanks. Yes it’s around 260ish now. I still need to get the suspension fitted that I bought last year…. It’s a slow process 😀

      The BMW specialist I used have been using these for a long time without an issue so should be fine hopefully.

    Neil just subscribed having watched your GT p11 on Johny Smith.
    Love a Primera GT have owned more than ten and done many hundred of laps round U.K. circuits in Primera gt’s - a hugely under rated car to drive.
    I sold two silver GT’s same as yours this year a 99 V one owner with 55k miles £3k and my track GT S reg solid but a bit scruffy £1500.
    I can send you details of the company who welded up one of these did a proper job not just an mot weld. They are based near Fleet Hampshire.

    I wish they made a 323d version with a twin turbo engine. My E91 would be much more enjoyable to drive than with 177hp.

    • @NeilsCarsAviationTravel
      @NeilsCarsAviationTravel  5 месяцев назад

      I think it would have taken sales away from the 325d which had 197 and later 204bhp from the 3.0d engine.
      In the F30 the 325d was a 123d engine with 231bhp.

    Do you still have the DPF in place as you have deleted the EGR
    THANKS

    • @NeilsCarsAviationTravel
      @NeilsCarsAviationTravel  5 месяцев назад

      Yes, I didn’t want the DPF removed and the garage recommended keeping it unless there was a reason to delete it.

    • @joeyjones6638
      @joeyjones6638 5 месяцев назад +1

      Are right. But as there is no egr will the car still have dpf regeneration?

    • @NeilsCarsAviationTravel
      @NeilsCarsAviationTravel  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@joeyjones6638 yes it does. It may need to regen a bit more often, but on the plus side the inlet manifold should stay a lot cleaner.

    • @joeyjones6638
      @joeyjones6638 5 месяцев назад +1

      But I was thinking will the regeneration still kick in as the egr is part of the regeneration cycle also glow plugs must be working properly be interested to know the results pal

      @@joeyjones6638 the garage, a BMW specialist, have been doing EGR deletes for years so I would guess they know it works ok.
      I will do an update video on a few months.
