    Anyway, on with the video…
    -
    The first 12 months of an entrepreneurs journey typically make or break them. The initial conditions set, the patterns formed and the beliefs laid out will craft their future.
    Starting a business is disgustingly tough. There’s no way to sugar coat it - it sucks.
    However, amidst the harsh weathers of early-day business, we can find glimmers of excitement, hope and confidence.
    Today’s video serves the purpose of giving you the latter 3 things. It’s designed to explain and explore my first 12 months in the SMMA space, giving my experience (honest experience only of course).
    I also proceed to explain the 3 steps any agency owner must go through to become successful. I hope you find them helpful, they worked really well for me.
    I hope you find today’s video helpful. If you do, consider subscribing :)
    Thanks,

    The problem is that course sellers are not selling "how to start a marketing agency" they are selling "how to make 10k/month+ in a time frame a young person can imagine as being possible" and that is borderline criminal. If you have no interest, inclination, talent or training in online marketing go find something that does interest you. Knowing the failure rate is well north of 50% here why not go get into something that you are interested in, are good at, and have some experience in and blow that up to 10k a month, there is nothing unique about this space, you could do this with software development, e-commerce or being a long distance truck driver in the US right now. I know a guy who makes over 10k a month doing commercial sand blasting.

      Sooo true. I think it actually makes life harder for everyone because business owners (our potential clients) are burned from being scammed by noobies who don't know or like marketing so they're extra suspicious of every next agency they come in contact with and are harder to close due to that.

      @treysince21 7 месяцев назад

      It's not so much about the $10k a month, because you're still trading time for money. For me it's about the flow of passive income, and that comes from systems not man-hours.

    I love this! It took me 1 entire year of working full time (and overtime) on the "agency" to get my first client. I hit $10k per month 8 months after that. I had no job for that 1 year so it was stressful AF lol

      Hey man good job on the 10k a month, i had a question: what niche are you in?

    • @rush_amanda
      @rush_amanda Год назад

      @@ceey3730 I help coaches with their lead gen. :) I wouldn't chase this niche unless you're passionate about it though. They get bombarded daily by marketing agencies. It will work if you love the industry! But if not you should choose something that excites you or you care about. Otherwise work won't be as fun, you won't go as far as fast, and the niche will sense it and it'll be hard to get clients. Hope that helps!

    100% agree. I started freelancing and was lucky to have a few clients when I left my job, but after 3 years wanted to make a proper go of it and it was like going 10 rounds with Tyson every day. Eventually you welcome it because you're used to the pain and just move through it. It's f***in hard but very rewarding

    Hi mate, loved this video. I've been going since May though and we are doing £17k per month on average at the moment with this month being well over £20k with Black Friday week coming etc. I've worked my absolute face off for this so far, maybe a little luck involved based on what you're saying?
    Love the content.

    Appreciate the perspective that you gave, I'm currently still in the 1st year and I've hardly started and have only just started doing tasks like the onboarding processes and such, I have an idea on how I'm gonna tackle this. But I want to also say, That the video you made before about Service Delivery was really spot on.
    I was having a lot of thoughts if I should delegate the tasks to another contractor or do it myself first but after seeing the video you made about Service Delivery and listening to the interview with Daniel (which if you could make him hop on another interview and just see an update on what he's doing now that'll be really interesting!). But, It really got my thoughts clearly that I should be the one who needs to master the service first before delegating the task to another person.
    So thank you for giving perspective on that as well.

      how though. It takes years to learn fb ads, and only way you'd do it is by becoming a media buyer yourself. Its better to hire someone, and learn the basics. Who cares if your profit margins are 80% and not 100%. Also fb ads are always changing so you would have to comitt your life to it, so the stuff you learn now will be outdated i the future anyway almost all businesses are like that unless you selling a course

The problem with me is in 6 months of my agency, I changed niche 3 times but now I won't change and will stick to it and what's average like time takes among your 290 students to get 10k and further.

Some of your students did in fact grow from 0-40k in 3 months which is opposite of what you’re saying here (aka takes 4-5 years)
