My 3 month old was doing good on leash but now is wanting to chew and play with the leash. Gone through 2 leashes now. Any suggestions? This occurs even after trotting her for half a mile.
I’m having same issue, I’m learning to distract that behavior with a toy or high value treat like chicken or turkey pieces and when they are paying attention to me to reward them. Keep doing this repeatedly and walking short distances for the training session , making sure to only reward when they are walking and not biting leash.
