I think that clip is hugely over-played personally, it's not hat it isn't funny, I just think there are better clips. Their mums tomb being painted in glow in the dark paint, the exploding blow-up sex dolls etc
It just got better season after season, and the Christmas specials were just class. I have never known any other sitcom that has had me laughing so much it’s literally tears. A shame, but like all good things it came to an end.
Best scene ever is Delboy and Rodney running out of the smoke in a back alley, dressed as batman and robin, and scaring a gang of muggers off! Brilliant!
Fools and Horses is full of memorable moments, one of the best sit com's of all time. My personal favourite is the poker scene and Del's line "I knew you were cheating Boycey" "Oh yeah how?" "That wasn't the hand I dealt you" 😂
One of my favourites, among many, was ‘Stage Fright’. Absolute classic with the singing dustman, Tony Angelino. A reaction video to that one would be great.
Trying to pick one is nearly impossible as every episode was funny from start to end, one of the all time classics of British comedy and still as funny today as it ever was.
That is a really difficult question as there are so many cry with laughter Only Fools comedy moments: The exploding blow-up dolls Rachel and crywing Priceless Chandelier Any episode where Trigger plays a key role - his broom The Jolly Boys Outing Just far too many to mention. The whole series was comedy gold.
To see David Jason in a previous life check out Open All Hours where he plays the hapless Granville, Ronnie Barker’s (Arkwright) nephew in the corner shop. You can see where David Jason got his acting skills and of course Ronnie Barker is his usual brilliant self.
The best episode ever. In my. Opinion was when Rodney won a competition on a cornflake packet for a free holiday to Spain only to find out it was for 2 adults and 1.child so Del and Cassandra.went and Rodney Pretended to be a 14. Year old boy for a week 😂😂😂😂😂😂
far to many when damien is born and rodney says what is it and del says it's a baby kills me 😂but for me S08 E 02 modern man it is so beautifully written you go from tears of sorrow to tears of laughter 😊
One thing that has always amazed me about Only Fools and Horses, with all its brilliant comedy, and wonderful characters, is that it was all written by one man, the brilliant and greatly missed John Sullivan. He wrote quite a few other BBC comedy series too, including Citizen Smith. He also sang the Theme tune, to Only Fools, all the people i know thought that Rodney, Nicholas Lyndhurst, was the singer.
I once attended a meeting in a Whitehall government department. After several minutes of us all sitting in silence, I asked if we could make a start. The Secretary turned to me and said, “We’re waiting for the man with a dead cat on his head to arrive”. When he did turn up with his very obvious wig I found it difficult not to burst into laughter. The rest of the meeting was torture as I tried to contain myself, much to the amusement of all bar one of their participants.
All the ones mentioned of course, but one I haven't seen in the comments, that I love, is the one where they are held hostage during a supermarket robbery overnight. That whole episode is wonderful, but I love the bits where the robber knows Del, and when Rodney grabs the cigarettes instead of the gun.
The Best Fools and Horses? That's a helluva question. When Del falls through the bar, when the coach blows up, the Batman and Robin scene. Too many to remember.
My favourite has to be Batman and Robin, but an extremely close 2nd the Chandelier. However, I have laughed so hard at many great scenes, too, like the classic falling through a bar. I was born and bread in Peckham, so this show is so close to my heart.
Your sense of humour is turning very British, which is a good thing. I sent one of my ex-girlfriend, a picture of some flowers for her birthday with instructions to print the picture, cut round place in vase and do not water. Because she knew my sense of humour, she thought it was extremely funny. Her family in France could not understand it. She said all they kept saying was but it’s a picture. I can get away with it, after all, I give her a customised house brick for her birthday which really confused her French relations
The best ever Fools and Horses which most people would agree with is one of the feature length Christmas Specials in which Del Boy and Rodney dress up as Batman & Robin.
Best bit for me is when Rodney gets married and says goodbye to Del for his honeymoon before forgetting where he lives in the next scene. Emotion to comedy in a heartbeat, genius
The best comedy ever made in my opinion the one liners are hilarious not just that everyone of them was a character trigger is hilarious calling Rodney Dave haha
There's an episode in which Del meets an old friend who's visiting from Austraila. He's wearing a wig too. There's a great scene in which a one-liner from Uncle Albert causes the actor playing Rodney to "corpse".
My favourite scene has to be when Del and Rodney are in fancy dress as Batman and Robin. This show makes me laugh every time no matter how many times I watch it.
I can’t pick one favourite. Only Fools is one comedy I could watch repeatedly and make me laugh every single time. Hands down the best comedy of all time.
Another great reaction from you. If I need cheering up I always watch one of your reactions. As regards my favourite Only Fools and Horses moments I have three that tie for first place - Del falling through the bar, the chandelier and Batman and Robin. I believe you may have already reacted to them all.
Only Fools And Horses is amazing, the best of British comedy. But also filled with pathos. It works so well, because any generation x or before would've known someone like Del Boy while growing up
David Jason (Del Boy) is and always will be one of the best comedians/actors to come out of the UK. I love the whole chandelier episode...the anticipation and then that final killer blow.
for me the best only fools scene is when del and rodney are in the lift and del gets rodney to open up about cassandra miscarriage, i like it because it is so well written
As below... . Has to be falling through the Bar. Iconic. Thank You for bringing back the memories of such great moments in British TV history. Take Great Care Amanda. x...
There is hundreds hundreds Amanda best scenes but what made my partner chuckle was Two blow up dolls. Episode omg especially in flat and then taking them out to drop them home. Was so funny
Personally my favourite line in Only Fools is when Rodney tells Del and Grandad he's going out with a woman of 40. Del says "Blimey, she's even too old for me!", and Grandad says "Well I'd 'ave to think twice.. ". Lennard Pearce's delivery was perfect
A touch of glass, the chandelier moment. They got one take and was told if they laugh or mess the scene up then they would get fired 😂. If you watch closely you can see Rodney trying not break break out in laughter 😂
Trigger was one of the best characters .. in my part of london its an irish jig .or a syrup....the cleaning the chandeliers was terrific ... good vid again amanda 😂😂❤❤
One of the very early Only Fools, and for me the best line ever, was when Boycie challenged Del to a poker game. After losing all his cash, Del then backed the car and flat against the lot on the last hand, Boycie turns over a Royal flush, Del beats him with 4 aces saying, ''I knew you were cheating, because that wasn't the hand I dealt you!''
Only Fools And Horses is just PURE sitcom gold - forgive the cliché, but they just don't make them like that any more! Honestly, there's far too many genius moments in there to narrow down: many years & re-watches later, this still has me crying with laughter (& often just crying too - even the sad moments were so well done!) - I'm sure many will say 'Del falling through the bar', that's the one that sticks with many, but there's SO much more, I'd suggest maybe looking up some 'best of' compilations? - bound to be plenty on here!
Hi Amanda great to see you reacting to the hilarious only fools and horses one of my favourite's is the chandelier one😂😂i remember watching these each week on tv wondering what they were going to try and sell 😂another good one is trigger and his broom❤❤
So many great moments, the bar scene, the chandelier, batman and robin, and also one of the early one where they stay in Boycie`s cottage to do some poaching.
I love how you can even understand him never mind snort laugh 😂 your laughs super cute mate ❤Great vid❤ and best moment is when Del falls through the bar 😂
I think it might be easier to get all of them in a bowl and pick one out each time you want one as all are comedy gold and are legendary. Ofah the greatest you'll ever see everyone loves them, if you don't like them you just don't like comedy full stop simple. You can watch from the first episode to the last one and just not find a bad episode. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
For those not familiar: 'Syrup' for 'wig' is rhyming slang from 'Syrup of Figs'; a laxative that was in just about every family medicine cabinet, much nicer than Castor Oil!!
My favourite one, is Triggers Broom, the comedy timing is on another level. Unfortunately it's not shown as the bar scene normally steals the lime light. Roger Lloyd Pack RIP. ❤️
You really need to check out the Trigger moments. Roger Lloyd-Pack (God rest his soul) played the part brilliantly. Every time he was in a scene you knew something so unexpectedly funny was going to happen. Also I would recommend the scene at the community centre where Rodney became the chairman of the neighbourhood committee.
Amanda, I was prop man on most of the Fools episodes, including the falling through the bar one. A lovely cast and crew made it some of the best times I had at the Beeb. A syrup is rhyming slang ,syrup of figs = wigs. My favourite one is, April, = April in Paris =Arris ,Aristotle bottle, bottle and glass= Arse. Keep well.x
Glad you can appreciate the syrup reference now Amanda . My favourite is the blow up dolls , although it's a joke that builds through the episode , for one off clips , Del falling through the bar or the Chandelier are good .
Only Fools is a timeless classic. There is no comedy show that will compare ti it. Obviously there are other greats such as Monty Python, Phoenix Nights, Max and Paddy on the road to nowhere, the Inbetweeners, Father Ted, Alan Partridge, Blackadder, Kevin and Perry, Mr Bean, Dads Army, Derry Girls etc etc etc. I could make a list that will go on for a while. But Only Fools is by far the greatest British sitcom of all time.
Just went last week to watch the musical in the West End and I would definitely recommend it. My jaw was aching from laughing so much. Definitely recommended!
Hey @AMANDA RAE, I think all of your videos are great and I'm glad you're enjoying life in the UK! OFAH never fails to have me in hysterics and one particular scene that I don't think has been mentioned yet for you to view is the 'A Girl?!' scene where Del concocts a plan with Uncle Albert to shame Rodney into not dating another girl while he's going through a rough patch with Cassandra, of course Albert totally messes it up but it is so funny it has me crying with laughter every time I watch it!

"this time next year Rodney, we'll all be millionaires"...... Absolute classic..... I doubt we'll ever see comedy of this standard again. Good to see you're getting there with the Cockney rhyming slang Amanda. Syrup = syrup of figs = wig. It's almost as difficult for some of us Brits to follow too......
Hello Amanda. Hadn’t seen this before. It reminds me of an incident I had when was on secondment from BT in the UK to it’s US subsidiary in the US. In 1994 I was on Staten Island (NY) for 6 months. We had a visit from an AT&T engineer and he had an obvious wig on. My colleague, hoping he didn’t have any knowledge of Cockney Rhyming Slang when he said to me “Have you seen that Syrup?” syrup is Cockney rhyming slang for a wig, i.e. Syrup of Figs. It was hard not to laugh or giggle and give the game away.
Whatever happened to the likely lads? is an absolute classic sitcom. I think you'll enjoy the Terry Collier's World View scene. By the way , keep up the good work.
Boycie's description of the dodgy VCRs in 'Danger UXD' always makes me laugh: "I have just found out that they only work on the continental current. To make them work on the British system would take a transformer the size of a suitcase and an electrician of such genius I'd have to go headhunting at Cape Canaveral".
One of the best Only Fools and Horses moments for me is when Del tries to play Trivial Pursuit with Cassandra's boss Steven at a dinner party to celebrate Rodney and Cassandra's wedding anniversary in the episode called The Jolly Boys Outing. Still cracks me up to this day.....what is a female swan called 🤣🤣🤣
Dear Amanda . How can you ask for 30 seconds from over 20 years of solid laughs ?? Is this Mission Inpossible ?? All the different chacrators and all the different ways things happen . I love them all , but Uncle Albert at Margate in Dream Land , the fun fair steering the remote control boats with the young boy next to him 😂👍
Del Boy falling through the bar is, and always will be, the greatest comedy scene of all time.
I couldn't breathe for laughing so hard.
..I was going to say that!!
The Batman And Robin episode was their best.
I think that clip is hugely over-played personally, it's not hat it isn't funny, I just think there are better clips. Their mums tomb being painted in glow in the dark paint, the exploding blow-up sex dolls etc
Voted as such no less
yeah this one
The chandelier falling is my favourite but Del falling through the bar is just as funny. Fools & Horses is the best sitcom ever.
Fools and Horses was the best sitcom to ever grace our channels. Perfectly written scripts, brilliant actors, wonderful story
That was worth the BBC licence money on its own.
If blackadder hadn’t had that dodgy first series it would have been a challenger.
I love fools and horses but for me Porridge was the nuts.
It just got better season after season, and the Christmas specials were just class. I have never known any other sitcom that has had me laughing so much it’s literally tears.
A shame, but like all good things it came to an end.
Closely followed by John Sullivan's dear john
Another brilliant video and a great reaction. I think the 'Blow Up Dolls' is very funny, but a compilation of Trigger's best bits is an absolute must.
Great shout I second that 👍👍
Yea forgot about that one. It's hilarious. Danger U. X. Dolls. I lost bladder control watching that one. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The blow up dolls is am absolute corker!
Especially when they first pop up
Trigger Had the same broom is brilliant 😂
Best scene ever is Delboy and Rodney running out of the smoke in a back alley, dressed as batman and robin, and scaring a gang of muggers off! Brilliant!
Spoiler alert.
Triggers Broom sketch is a funny one 😂 Thanks for the great reaction Amanda 😊👍
Fools and Horses is full of memorable moments, one of the best sit com's of all time. My personal favourite is the poker scene and Del's line "I knew you were cheating Boycey"
"Oh yeah how?"
"That wasn't the hand I dealt you" 😂
“I knew Delboy had summink up his sleeve!” Grandad was great!!
One of my favourites, among many, was ‘Stage Fright’. Absolute classic with the singing dustman, Tony Angelino. A reaction video to that one would be great.
I love the bit, "Keep your hair on." It cracks me up.

There so many skits to choose from on only fools but triggers I've had this broom skit gets me every time.😊

Completely agree, with Black Adder goes forth in second place,
Never heard of this Only Fools and Horses sketch before. It's brilliant!!!

the birth of Damion and after at his flat. makes you cry with laughter and empathy
The handgliding clip gets me every time. " Get up as high as you can Del Boy, you might get a tan"
Is that our phone I can hear ringing Rodney? No Del we ant got a phone lol.
"Ohhh my good gawd....Arghh!!" Blimey they do this for fun?!" 😂😂
He looks like a Swan Vesta always gets me giggling
I agree. I especially like the line "we ain't got a car phone"
Great Show and another fun reactions video ! Thanks Amanda !!😀
I can’t pick one favourite. Only Fools is one comedy I could watch repeatedly and make me laugh every single time. Hands down the best comedy of all time.
when Del and Rodney go to a fancy dress party as Batman and Robin

My favourite scene in only fools and horses is when Rodney applies for his own job in the modern men episode, hilarious!
When you watch the clip, listen to the audience reaction when Rodney says, "I haven't got a brother".
Hi Amanda, another great video reaction. I think the best Fools and Horses clip is "The chandelier sketch"
Hi Amanda great to see you reacting to the hilarious only fools and horses one of my favourite's is the chandelier one😂😂i remember watching these each week on tv wondering what they were going to try and sell 😂another good one is trigger and his broom❤❤
The actor who played Uncle Albert (Buster Merryfield) was a retired Bank Manager (He had been a Bank Manager with Natwest Bank).
So many great moments, the bar scene, the chandelier, batman and robin, and also one of the early one where they stay in Boycie`s cottage to do some poaching.
Funniest only fools and horses has to be the episode with Tony Angelino who ends up singing in acduo with Rachuel but he can't prononiuncevhis R's.
I love how you can even understand him never mind snort laugh 😂 your laughs super cute mate ❤Great vid❤ and best moment is when Del falls through the bar 😂

when you cry, it makes me cry. Bloody brilliant.
This is just wonderful. Only Fools is one of our finest accomplishments
I’m delighted how with how much this is making you laugh.
:)
I like how much these clips are making Amanda laugh & it shows how much you enjoy it when you snort in your laugh 😂
For those not familiar: 'Syrup' for 'wig' is rhyming slang from 'Syrup of Figs'; a laxative that was in just about every family medicine cabinet, much nicer than Castor Oil!!
I'd forgottten just how funny Only Fools and Horses actually is. Thank you Amanda.😀😀😀
Del falling through the bar, such a classic ❤

Amanda, I was prop man on most of the Fools episodes, including the falling through the bar one. A lovely cast and crew made it some of the best times I had at the Beeb.
A syrup is rhyming slang ,syrup of figs = wigs.
My favourite one is, April, = April in Paris =Arris ,Aristotle bottle, bottle and glass= Arse.
Keep well.x
I bet it was a brilliant laugh!
@@LADYRAEUK It was darling, the tales I could tell.......but I wouldn't dream of it. X
The chandelier moment in one of the early ones, with the late grandad. The director told Del & Rodney if they smirked they were fired.
Just went last week to watch the musical in the West End and I would definitely recommend it. My jaw was aching from laughing so much. Definitely recommended!
Love it when uncle Albert says he can speak German
Oh yes. 'Vot is your name?'😂😂😂
Amanda, I can watch you everyday i love the expressions on your face & how much you love British humour, Another one for you to look at is Alf Garnett,i have mentioned many for you to check & have a look at, like you said on one theirs no humour like that today but I am really glad you enjoy watching fools and horses, 2 Ronnies, etc, David Jason who played Del Boy was in Open All Hours with Ronnie Barker that's another one to look at.
I recommend watching entire series from start to finish I do love the miami twice episode where del and Rodney go on holiday to miami
Would have to say when Rodney wins the art competition always cracks me up.
David Jason is pure genius!
Amanda your so calming and I a pleasure to watch, I did the reverse I traded the UK for the US, but I do miss classic comedy shows.
When it first started, nobody knew how it would develop.
But the argument with grandad saying SIDNEY POTTER got me, and I was hooked from that moment on.
The fact that every scene is so familiar to all of us, and still makes us laugh says it all.
I love the on when Rodney takes out Nervous Nerys for a drive doing a tough guy James Dean persona and she ends up a sobbing wreck.
Blow up dolls or the chandelier episodes were the 2 funniest to me!!
"I don't believe it, he's phoned a mosque!"
Brilliant 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"this time next year Rodney, we'll all be millionaires"...... Absolute classic..... I doubt we'll ever see comedy of this standard again. Good to see you're getting there with the Cockney rhyming slang Amanda. Syrup = syrup of figs = wig. It's almost as difficult for some of us Brits to follow too......
Got me there’s the poker game one with Boyce and the classics..the chandelier with granddad and the bar fall with Trigger...😂
Since you've done the bar and chandelier scene. It's either gotta been "Batman and Robin" OR "Trigger and his broom" x
😂 Great video
Triggers Broom for me 7 new heads and 14 new handles but it's the same broom. Triggers deliver and Del & rodneys reaction priceless
Hello Amanda. Hadn’t seen this before. It reminds me of an incident I had when was on secondment from BT in the UK to it’s US subsidiary in the US. In 1994 I was on Staten Island (NY) for 6 months. Loved the falling through the bar scene. But when Raquel was in labour del said he could see the babys hair and it turned out it was the midwifes wig
Whatever happened to the likely lads? is an absolute classic sitcom. I think you'll enjoy the Terry Collier's World View scene. By the way , keep up the good work.
Still funny after all these years due to reat acting and writing.
A touch of glass, is brilliant, and the bar scene as well, absolute Cushty.

Still cracks me up to this day.....what is a female swan called 🤣🤣🤣
Cwying always cracks me up...
Stage fright episode with the singing dustman
the chandelier dropping will always be my favourite.
and I think, although the "bar scene" is comedy gold, the chandelier has got to be the greatest, just from the sheer build up and anticipation :)
😂😂 you are going to do yourself a mischief if you keep laughing 😂😂😂😂❤
The chandlier sketch is absolutely one of the very best
Dear Amanda . How can you ask for 30 seconds from over 20 years of solid laughs ?? Is this Mission Inpossible ?? All the different chacrators and all the different ways things happen .
