Fools and Horses is full of memorable moments, one of the best sit com's of all time. My personal favourite is the poker scene and Del's line "I knew you were cheating Boycey"

One thing that has always amazed me about Only Fools and Horses, with all its brilliant comedy, and wonderful characters, is that it was all written by one man, the brilliant and greatly missed John Sullivan. He wrote quite a few other BBC comedy series too, including Citizen Smith. He also sang the Theme tune, to Only Fools, all the people i know thought that Rodney, Nicholas Lyndhurst, was the singer.

That is a really difficult question as there are so many cry with laughter Only Fools comedy moments:
    The exploding blow-up dolls
    Rachel and crywing
    Priceless Chandelier
Any episode where Trigger plays a key role - his broom
    The Jolly Boys Outing
Just far too many to mention. The whole series was comedy gold.

I once attended a meeting in a Whitehall government department. After several minutes of us all sitting in silence, I asked if we could make a start. The Secretary turned to me and said, “We’re waiting for the man with a dead cat on his head to arrive”. When he did turn up with his very obvious wig I found it difficult not to burst into laughter. The rest of the meeting was torture as I tried to contain myself, much to the amusement of all bar one of their participants.

Your sense of humour is turning very British, which is a good thing. I sent one of my ex-girlfriend, a picture of some flowers for her birthday with instructions to print the picture, cut round place in vase and do not water. Because she knew my sense of humour, she thought it was extremely funny. Her family in France could not understand it. She said all they kept saying was but it’s a picture. I can get away with it, after all, I give her a customised house brick for her birthday which really confused her French relations

All the ones mentioned of course, but one I haven't seen in the comments, that I love, is the one where they are held hostage during a supermarket robbery overnight. That whole episode is wonderful, but I love the bits where the robber knows Del, and when Rodney grabs the cigarettes instead of the gun.

When they become millionaires and Del faints in the Auction House, ...not long after , then Rodney faints.
It's the best sitcom ever made.

Classic series but I was less keen on the later ones where they went for the 45 minute specials rather than the traditional 30 minutes.
If you're looking for some more sitcom then try Bottom, no giggling at the back, starring the late, great Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson. Subtle it isn't but a fine example of over the top British slapstick brought up to date in the 90s. I'd recommend S02 E05 · Holy and S03 E02 · Terror although they're all wonderful.
For something totally different try looking at the public information films they used to show to children in the 1970s which explain why a whole generation were traumatised. The most famous is The Spirit Of Dark And Lonely Water and the most infamous, it was either banned or edited, Apaches. Bear in mind these were shown to children during the 4PM-6PM slot between school and the news starting.

I think the Rodneys reaction to the birth of Damian was one of the funniest.

Favourite ‘Only Fools and Horses’ scene? Probably Del Boy falling through the bar….it never fails to hit the mark.
You should have a look at ‘Blackadder’ if you haven’t already, Amanda, as it’s a bother classic comedy. The Blackadder the 2nd episode, ‘Bob’, is brilliant 😂

@@LADYRAEUK yep.. OFAH is a classic..
I second watching the "Bob" episode of Blackadder II. Also try "Drunk" which has Hugh Laurie in it.
Blackadder III and Blackadder Goes Forth are also fantastic. The latter is poignant too - the last episode's ending is a tear jerker as it was set during WW1.
But... Still think OFAH just edges it overall. But it's very close! 😂😊

Just went last week to watch the musical in the West End and I would definitely recommend it. My jaw was aching from laughing so much. Definitely recommended!

for me it has to be Tea for three when Rodney convinces Del to get in the Hang glider! Brilliant scene and when Del tries to get his own back by pretending he is disabled and comes in on a wheelchair!! So funny!!

Hey @AMANDA RAE, I think all of your videos are great and I'm glad you're enjoying life in the UK! OFAH never fails to have me in hysterics and one particular scene that I don't think has been mentioned yet for you to view is the 'A Girl?!' scene where Del concocts a plan with Uncle Albert to shame Rodney into not dating another girl while he's going through a rough patch with Cassandra, of course Albert totally messes it up but it is so funny it has me crying with laughter every time I watch it!

I’m torn between the Chandelier falling or Del Boy falling through the bar.

My favourite is when Del promises organise birthday entertainment for the mother of the local big time thug..he goes into showbiz management and hires the local popular singer Tony Angelino..only there are two problems..firstly his on stage appearance isn't quite true..HILARIOUS in its own right...and in rehearsals both Rodney and Raquel try to tell Del there is a problem with the songs but he ignores them with absolutely brilliant results..it definitely is a must see
