He's interesting and his backstory is more interesting. If I had to choose a cenobite to be my favorite I guess I'd have to say the chatterer. Because the thought of a kid being made into a cenobite is not only wonderfully creepy but it has it's own uniqueness to it.

I kinda made a pseudo-cenobite in the World of darkness table top role playing game, using a blood-line of vampires called Tzimisce that have the ability to craft flesh/blood/bone like one might clay or stone. In the story-line I made an converted over the character that had a warped an demented view of beauty that caused him to kidnap people an thru mutilation mold their flesh an body into his own view of perfection. He had done this to himself as well yet hid most of what he had done under his baggy clothing, but when he got home with those he kidnapped he would unveil his "perfected beauty" to them showing what was going to happen to them. After some time he was converted into a cenobite/vampire after being shown images of what these beings looked like in carving an painting, searching for them for many decades till finding the box an opening the door.

The Cenobite designs got silly very quickly and stayed silly for a long, long time. This isn't as bad as CD head or Cameraman, but it's still nonsense and doesn't look anything like the exquisite, cosmetic torments of highly-developed sadistic acolytes. It's just a big, fuck-off spike.
I love the bubble of the Cénobite/labyrinth dimension explanation, and basically the ESP (extra sensory perception) description of the blind and/or deaf Cénobites. Please excuse the French accents - my phone has lost its mind.

Two lovers obsessed with each other since they were teens, now in their mid twenties, their obsession for each other has increased. Now, they make love to each other every single and say they can't live with each other. Now, since their obsession is sexual, they don't really love each other, their just obsessed with one another... They run away together, their in love with the physical not emotional since the two lovers were just lonely, very lonely before they met and just wanted pleasure, the man wanted pleasure from a woman and the woman from the man. In their adventure, they come across the Lament Configuration... Having heard of the pleasures and desires it grants, and their attachment being unhealthy to one another, they solve it. Later on Chains grip on their skin to hell and into the transformation chamber... Feeling pain and pleasure that both will be together forever and nothing will ever separate them. In the chamber, they were stripped naked, sticks and sharp spikes pierces through their skin, joining their bodies and face... Once finished, they wear clothes similar to the cenobites with a heart tattoo on the back, with a arrow through it, bloody. Know they have become into one being, a man and woman, with half of their face kissing and the other half fused together... Know, they hunt couples who love each other... And kill them while saying; "You too love each other, we can make it so you love birds will be together forever..." Guess that the lovers finally got their wish... Now they are "together" forever, in hell with pain and pleasure....
The main reason I say this is becuase most everything the senos have done to them people can live with being done (other than the twins and maybe queen)
So these cenobites are gluttons for pain, and pain is pleasure, yet none of their torture costumes have anything to do with fire? There's no cenobites that wear torture costumes of scorching hot metal, or steam? Or a smoker/drug addict cenobite? They missed the mark for a couple good cenobites and gave us some weak ones in the later hellraisers.
