Thank you! It makes the perfect souvenir! Maine was beautiful, I had no idea how big and how undeveloped so much of it was. We would drive for miles without seeing any houses, stores, gas stations or anything but nature.
We live in Connecticut have visited Jasper Beach several times. All visits were in August. I used to scuba dive and tried to snorkel but man that water was so cold, I only attempted it just one time as the Labrador currents were not very inviting. My wife our 2 children were just happy to lay amongst the warm stones picking thru the treasures that Jasper Beach had to offer. The only thing nicer than the warm stones were the hospitable people of Machiasport and nearby towns. and the promise of a lobster dinner later on.
@@jeepadventures1339 But I'm sure you saw all the cars pulled aside with people picking wild blueberries. Dis you ever identify that blueish clear stone ? Or was it Sea Glass ... Did you ever make that piece of jewelry ? It's never too late.
@@jussitikkuri6991 Your family vacation sounds wonderful. Did you find anything while snorkeling? We went in October, so it was far too cold to enjoy the water, however, that didn't stop us from getting our feet wet. We would love to live that close. It was such a beautiful place!
@@jussitikkuri6991 The stone was sea glass and yes, I did make a necklace. Finding sea glass in Maine was on my bucket list so, I was so excited to find that piece. Thanks so much for your interest!
Very cool! I was going to say that it would make some beautiful jewelry before you mentioned it. I would love to visit Maine.
