If we're being wise, it'll be DeAnthony. He can shoot, create his own shot and is by far the best defender among the 3
What I would love to see is a playing time for a team comp of:
PG: Podz
SG: Moody
SF: Kuminga
PF: TJD
C: Post
I find Bpodz a point guard more than a shooting guard. They need a facilitator when Curry needs to rest. Start Melton and then when there is a need for the second unit.. put in Bpodz.

I would love to see moody this way he is getting minutes. And he can play and defend. I like to see pods run the 2nd team
I think Hield will start at SG the first game of the season. Eventually sooner than later i think Podz will start the majority of games at SG the whole season. I think all 3 of those guys might start here and there, also when Curry sits out a game or injuries set into play. I also won't be surprised if DeAnthony starts at SG first game of the season like you mentioned. Definitley up in the air who starts at SG. But through the long run i believe Podz will be the starting SG this season.

Steph, Buddy, Dray, JK, and Wiggs will start because Kerr loves small ball. Podz, TJD, Anderson, Moody and Melton as next five, with GP2 and Looney ready as needed. Buddy needs to start because like Klay, he needs a volume of shots to get his rhythm. He takes a lot of pressure off Steph if double teamed.
Moody isn’t in the conversation because you guys refuse to talk about him but Kerr has said Moody is having a great camp so far and he’s loving what he’s doing on the court even without being asked about Moody so that’s encouraging. Don’t be surprise if he raises out of the ashes.
@@patrickstubbs3792 Don’t think you think he’d be fighting for more of a wing role, though. Tough to vision how this competition is going to unfold, but I’d be thinking Moody would more be in comp with Wiggins and JK… It’s very tough to guess exactly what they’re thinking, which is why this preseason is going to be huge in analyzing these different lineups. Someone is going to have to be traded. Too many even players battling if all healthy. Key words, “if all healthy”… will be good depth if something does go wrong. Very intriguing storyline entering the year forsure.
@@LockedOnWarriors Moody is a natural SG, can shoot and defend. He was being groomed to take over for Klay at the SG role up until last year. He can definitely play the 2 as well as the 3. He’s not going to overtake JK or Wiggs although he started games some games for Wiggs last season. But from what I’m hearing he’s definitely grown and it’s showing in camp. Just don’t write him off because of how Kerr has played him these last 3 seasons. It’s a contract year for him as well but a lot of people been writing him off because he was offered up in the trade rumors.

De'Anthony Melton (if healthy) should be starting at SG. He is the best combination of defense and offense for that position. Podziemski should be coming off the bench at PG with Buddy Hield at SG. And you got GP2 (if healthy) in spot duty. To me, the confusion might be at small forward. You got Wiggins, Kuminga (and Moody?) How does that get cleared up?
The only lineup is to start Davis, shooting guard until they prove he isnt there is Wiggins.
This nonsense Wiggins/JK cant be on court same time it came from Atkinson and his analythical bs, he is gone and good!
Jk at the 3, keep Green out of center if you want him to stay healthy and out of suspension territory.
Forget about Pods too much is expected history when that is the case there is a let down which is wjat I expect.
He leads the second unit that should be his main roll, Heid and Melton plays next to him.
Here is Kerr rotation problem roster you still got Waters,Moody,GP2 his problem is right there still. Got to make a move!
WIGGINS a no brainer!
It's clear as day Podz will play the role of J Poole and come off the bench unless Wiggins doesn't come back this year. Everything coming out of camp Wiggins is playing out of his mind even mentioned he wants to go to the Allstar game next year. I predict Wiggins gets most improved and becomes a 2 time Allstar. The men finally looks like his head is in the game. I also think Buddy hield will have a career year being wide open also Walter's about to be a problem
Pods' rebounding could be a swaying factor. If they go Dray at C, JK at PF, Wigs at SF then i'd go Pods for that rebounding goodness, also with Dray and Wigs the D is held up in that scenario. If they use JK as 6th man (or Wigs) and insert size and boards up front than maybe go Melton starting.
Even though all the options aren't perfect seeming on paper due to size along with that Curry is small-ish too.....they're all scrappy heady hard working psychologically committed and involved dudes, can't go wrong really although who knows, could be they do get exposed on D vs a few teams with big Gs.
But then again often when other teams try to take advantage of size mismatches down low vs small Gs...they often take themselves out of rhythm anyway by going away from what they do well trying to get that mismatch
I think that would be my choice to start out if i were Kerr. If Dray is your C and JK PF along with Wigs at SF you're going to need more rebounding so Pods starts. If you put a C in there moving Dray to the PF then i'd start Melton.
(Or hey, how about Moody coming in on another level?)

If Andrews back to form then he should be the 2 guard. He started in the league as a 2 guard. Kobe once said Wiggins reminds him of himself body type wise when he was younger. Kuminga is a SF and needs to be a starter, hes not a PF and Green is not a Center and analytics show that Green plays better with a big man like Looney or TJD next to him.
Curry,Wiggins,Kuminga,Green,TJD That should be the starters.
Given they didn't want to add Podz for Lauri trade. The team values Podz a lot. No brainer he is the future and will get the minutes. I actually do prefer Melton because he can shoot it better over Podz and he plays better defense. Held will be needed when Curry is in the bench.

To start the year I would go:
Steph: easy choice
Melton: Allows Podz to come off the bench and be the primary ball handler and maybe become our new Jordan Poole.
Kuminga: Wants to be the second option ,let’s see how he looks in the role. And has said he’s worked in his C&S this summer
Dray: Been penciled in as a starter.
TJD: Gives size, rim protection, and with him now supposedly being 6’10 gives the lineup a better look height wise.
But imo it doesn’t matter who starts the games it’s who closes the halves and when the game gets the toughest.
But if wiggs look like 22 wiggs start him at SG.

Ummm GP2 had the hero season for the last title! He was a huge difference maker on defense and even offensively. He's been a shadow of himself since. Having Melton and GP2 should terrify teams... if someone else is scoring like Poole was then they're legit. Held would have to take Poole role. Wiggins needs to fill Klay shoes. Kuminga needs to be the offensive X factor or be traded... since they can't afford to keep him long-term with Wiggins salary. Anderson kind of fills Iggy, Porter and Bjelica roles... and can rest Draymond on theory.
I'm not sure how you keep Kuminga, Podz, Anderson, GP2, and even Held off the floor?? Should be a lot of strength in numbers and getting vets lots of rest. This could go similar to the last title or really bad really quickly.
