Quick Tip People Listing and Read!!! Do not Cut the top Where the door clip goes , instated Grab a M14 remove the 2 bolts then Install the rockers and after u install from the bottom grab a drill bit and drill from the bottom up the 2 holes and then install the clip again , is going to look original without having to cut a hole im the new Rockers
I clicked on the video because I wanted to see if the abs rocker panels have improved in design and I can make 2 observations. 1) the design is not any different and they still suck in so many ways; the metal panels are far superior. 2) your install of the abs panels is the cleanest I’ve ever seen, the truck looks amazing and if I thought I could get abs panels to look this good I’d use them too. The use of fluid film is a great idea and I’ll be using it for when I fix my rockers. Great video, bro! Subbed
For the inevitable haters: You have to consider this is a 12 + year-old Ford in an area where they use salt. There are most likely other areas rusting out that you can't see yet. You combine the future rust with the miles and putting too much time or money into this truck doesn't make sense. If you are a person that wants to get several more years out of truck and have it look fairly decent this could be a option. Some people don't make their vehicle a huge part of their identity and don't need it to be perfect.
Considering you arrested the rust and easily capped it, making that truck much more presentable for x number of years...Id say Win. Cool product, good job.
This is not good. The rockers on a truck cab are structural! You can put plastic over rust to sell it (you are a dick if you do that) or you can fix it properly.
They aren't structural. If that were the case half the trucks on the road in the northeast would be off the road. Go fuck yourself. And yes it is a good fix for those not wanting to spend thousands on body work every few years up here in the rust belt. Go back to your Prius you stupid fuckface
What a foolish waste of money and time, and very Bad example to be putting out for ignorant people to follow.. Rocker panels are structural this is one reason inspecting stations will fail the vehicle for saftey reasons. So you actually are putting people in danger by posting this foolish information. Anyone watching this DO NOT DO THIS.

Bought an 05 tacoma. My 13 f150 rust out quicker.
Man that looks good. I have a 2000 f150. The rockers are completely gone and like you pointed out, the Amazon ones are sketchy
Did you have to paint the covering? Or were you able to order the coverings to match your red truck?
Good product definitely saved money and time

How the heck to
You add your runner boards to that???
They go on the frame
Wow no welding that just a band aid for now
I have 2013. I live in Delaware. Mine are pretty bad but not even have as bad as yours were
where did you get the red from?
A video on how to do it if you want to waste your time and end up with a visual bandaid over a real problem.
Where can I order them from? Thanks
So you cover the rust .. eventually your floor falls out ..
Wouldn't touch it with a barge pole
These rockers too far gone for proper repair anyway. Not sure how the frame is still black tho
What a bodge really not good enough
For that truck, it is totally good enough.
That's not solving. It's covering
Too expensive... not going to spend $500.00 per side using Quick Covers plastic.
5:49 …. You can’t paint rust…
its still rusty and now un stable i would never
Man, that's gonna last about 3 months. You hate the metal ones because you don't weld. 😂

That is a horrible job. You just cover the rust shame on you.
