The reasons this story doesn't make sense: People don't set up CCTV for simple dinner parties. The boyfriend didn't know she was pregnant until the dinner party but had Plan B in his pocket? If he was worried about her lying about being on birth control, why didn't he use condoms? All the threats of ridiculous lawsuits from so many different people sounds more likely that 1 person writing the story doesn't understand how lawsuits work, especially considering James' would need to be held criminally accountable which could be initiated by OP because she has the camera footage and cops no longer need a cooperating witness, but she wouldn't have anything to civilly sue him over. He didn't do anything to her. All in all, just the whole set-up of this story seems weird. Oh and in the beginning it sounded like the OP already had knowledge of the boyfriend doing something wrong yet his assault isn't revealed until the update? Almost seems like the writer knew where the story was going huh? But they decided to wait until the update to reveal that, so why was the OP questioning if he was a good guy before she knew anything about him spiking the drink. Yeah, definitely a fake story.
I can’t event begin to tell you how frustrating this was to listen to! Look, if she’s actually changing, then great, but she had so many chances. How their parents stayed together is beyond me. It’s frustrating when someone asks for advice but then doesn’t do anything. About the situation. I was genuinely worried for her child because of how unhinged Melissa was, I genuinely thought she would try to poison OP. Some people should not get second chances when they’re that unhinged.
Yes, OP was in the wrong for confronting the boy friend for drugging her sister. She should have just taken the blame and let her sister press charges against her. 😂
Believed it was plausible until the lawyer stated worry of a counter suit for defamation… given the evidence stated earlier even a public defender wouldn’t have worried enough to mention a case that would get thrown out on merit.
Bruh, atleast use different names for characters. Melissa, James and Dianne were characters used in yesterdays "dad and stepmom didnt invite me to their housewarming party because they consider me an outsider"
OP wasnt given the xhoice to stay quiet about what James did because Melissa was threatening her with police and a lawsuit. And she had no way of knowing Melissa was lying about being pregnant. This story is illogical.
I swear whenever there is tons of family drama the OP always gets pregnant like it’s the drama and stress that makes it easier to get pregnant or something
dear old dad sold his soul to a Demon in the Sack (Diane), and the rotten psycho apple Melissa didn't even fall off the tree, it stayed glued to the branch. Wouldn't surprise me if Melissa inherited her Clusters of Bees-ish personality from her mom.
OBGYN nurse here, plan B shouldn't affect an already pregnant person unless it was other kind of pill (one that would actually harm the baby, not plan B). Plan B only works if the embryo didn't have time to set into the uterus, it's preventing the implantation, if the baby is already there it's not really doing anything most of the time so I don't see why she would throw up after that or feel sick. Edit: ok so she was not pregnant, the hormonal shifts from a plan B might mess with her period and bleed a lot and maybe get nauseous but usually it's just a very heavy period XD
How do I know it's AI? "update 4: one year later...." 🤦🏾♀️ Like I get the fact that this shit actually happens day-to-day in the real world..... but for Christ's sake.. upload actual stories, from actual reddit users.. not some dogshit AI story from meta or chat gpt.
OP reminds me of my mom, she's tried her hardest to maintain peace in the family, but the rest of them (a couple of sisters) just didn't care and cut us and my other aunt off; I even told her to look after herself. She was always worried about them, etc but they never really cared or were thankful. I told her it's just best to just move on, leave them to their devices, let them fight among themselves and to leave you out of it. Since that time she's felt relief. I've cut off all contact. I want nothing to do with those people, after all my mother has done for them, this is the thanks she gets. F em all. My family and my mental health is more important. Don't be hesitant to cut off toxic family members. Who cares if they are family, if they're no good for you don't bother with them. Not worth the headache and heartache.
I know this gotta be a creative writing piece, but if real, OP is the stupidest person around to let her biggest hater enter her home after she announced a miracle pregnancy.
It's funny how Melissa blames OP for showing her the footage, but she's the one who demanded to see the footage. Not sure if this is a real or fake story. If it's real, cut them off and be glad.
Where did the bf get plan b the same night Melissa announced her pregnancy - he was surprised too. Does he have a stash of plan b on hand because this is a regular occurrence?
He probably bought it that very day but didn't get the chance to leave it home. And the second she announced her "surprise" pregnancy, he was like "Oh sh1t! I gotta do something fast before I have to take drastic measures!"
Anyone else questioning why James had a plan b to hand. Like how do you just find out ur gf is “pregnant” and you have a plan b already on ur persons to spike their drink. Very odd
The way the moment she started to rub in your face that she could easily get pregnant because you weren’t getting pregnant easily, I would’ve thrown hands so fast, in a speed of light😂 nobody messing with ME.
funny how "melissa" had it easy to call her dad also dad and says that its their dad XDDDDDD so yeah its obvious that OP gets more favoured because melissa was already a lot older so bonding was that easy
Bro she should have gone to court and file a lawsuit against op then when op shows the proof all hell lose broke she would has to pay money to her then he would have breaken up with her and then she was on the blame.
I mean, if OP was 15 and her step-sister was 28 at the time, her SS was a full grown adult. It's not really any surprise that OP's father would lean more towards her? Unless I missed the age SS was when Father and Step-mother got married? If SS was 28 at the time, yeah I'd more more concerned if my dad was super friendly with some random 28 year old.
Massive plot holes. If James didn't know Melissa was supposedly pregnant, how did he have plan B in his pocket to spike her drink with? He just happens to carry that around just in case? That's ridiculous
If he doesn’t want a child it’s his responsibility to wear protection as well. Family shouldn’t be an excuse to let them walk all over you. Cut people out of your life that only bring negativity.
I don't think it's that your dad loved you more, I think it's that your dad loved you more than her mom loved her. He shows a level of care and concern the mother does not. And not disciplining or training your child is how you sabotage their future. She sees your dad loves you more than her mom loves her. That would be quite painful day after day and she certainly can't bring it up😢. Being neglected is quite damaging
She's mad at OP for showing her the footage SHE DEMANDED TO SEE!?!

12). Takes most of the video to even get to the title point.
13). When it comes to wills/inheritance, it usually is in the amount to live comfortably if smart or a huge outrageous amount that it doesn't make sense.
14). Has a "family business" that is "really successful".
15). Has abusive parents who do horrible things that are not acceptable or petty (such as abuse, unreasonable rules, favoritism or neglect) But the OP doesn't ask help from family members/cps while being able to do so. -@FinnishM3mes
16). Has crazy In-law that shows up with "legal documents" that supposedly is from a Lawyer over things that only a court can decide.
17). "So I'm obviously in the right but some random character(s) who's relatively unimportant to the story says I'm not so AITA?"-@conormac6293
18). Story is a movie script/OP and crew act like detectives.
19). Has an OP "rethinking" his choices because of irrelevant characters in the story. -@FinnishM3mes
20). Has unrealistic ‘bullies’ and the ‘villain’ in each story ALWAYS gets disowned or removed from the parents will by the end of each tale. -@SarahLovesBoobahandErEr
21). Has the AI Bingo! "Whirlwind of emotions" "rollercoaster of emotions" "Well, you see" "[person] apologized profusely" "Surrounded by love and affection". @fl-ri

23). Has the "EDIT: Holy crap/OMG this blew up over night/in a few hours".

25). ( should've been first but w.e.) When you reverse search the story, you can never find it as a whole. You usually find bits and pieces taken from multiple stories across the web not just reddit.
26). Legal documents somehow (mysteriously) gets drafted in a characters name without their knowledge or signature.
27). Legal actions dont work for OP but work for everyone else.
28). Disregarding certain culture norms like not owning technology.
29). The OP stays with/around a known violent person and then is "shocked" at how violent that person can be.
30). People who have problem OP or vice versa are up into themselves with their "social standing" like their royalty or something.
31). OP never records (we all have cell phones) the problem people admitting what they did wrong.
32). When the OP actually gets a restraining order, they fail to enforce it. ALL Protection/restraining orders state you may not use ANY 3rd party including other family members to violate the order. The 3rd parties do get used and OP never enforces the order.
33). Has the "Rules for thee, Not for me" motif.
34). Has a motif that paints OP as a saint.
35). OP says "“hey Reddit, I’m back” or just over mention of Reddit" -@madi554
36). Reuse of names from other stories posted. -@justroonhere
Don’t forget then saying “hey Reddit, I’m back” or just over mention of Reddit lol
Not to mention that Melissa, James and Dianne were characters in a story posted yesterday...
@@justroonhere thank you, I thought I heard those names recently. I knew it wasn’t a coincidence.
@@justroonhere I knew it, no way in hell he managed to find Theo stories with people holding 3 of the same names.
@@scpfoundation8376 he's just getting lazy with it :/
so OP wanted to take legal action against james for what exactly ?
The footage she desperately demanded
Op should've just let her go to the cops
Then James wouldn't be able to sue OP for "defamation" (even though it was not and would prove he committed a felony).
James has no grounds to sue
emotional damage
@@boredpersonstory553 he caused the situation. You can’t sue for emotional damages when you are the cause.
Diane: "Have you told Melissa ye-"
"Are you fucking serious?! After all the BS drama and pain that jealous psychopath caused?!!"
How was OP in any way responsible for anything that happened? She just caught it on camera.
Melissa, like her mom (Diane), is a raging narcissist and saw OP as a threat/rival.
@@LunaP1yep
she really mad because she wanted OP dad to herself..she wanted to be the favorite girl but that's not her dad, she need to find her own idk
14:12 love that the man just has plan b on him at a dinner party when he hadn’t heard that she was pregnant until mid party
I love how Diane said the dad was abandoning his family when he was defending his biological daughter, who was also in the right.
People in one-sided competitions will always lose against themselves.
Boyfriend heard this and said "Bro is 100% cheating"
And watch how Melissa's lawyer face palms when they lose thanks to zero evidence.
How the hell does this person continuously let her crazy ass sister into her house. It’s mind-boggling!
This story is SO REDUNDANT. WE GET THAT MELISSA COMPLAINS YOU DONT NEED TO SAY IT 45 TIMES IN 23 DIFFERENT WAYS.
Believed it was plausible until the lawyer stated worry of a counter suit for defamation… given the evidence stated earlier even a public defender wouldn’t have worried enough to mention a case that would get thrown out on merit.
I want the best for everyone reading this, even if we might not cross paths. May you have happiness, luck, and an abundance of blessings in your life.
Bruh, atleast use different names for characters. Melissa, James and Dianne were characters used in yesterdays "dad and stepmom didnt invite me to their housewarming party because they consider me an outsider"
Oh god. You're right!
Op nor her daddy gotta backbone.
OP wasnt given the xhoice to stay quiet about what James did because Melissa was threatening her with police and a lawsuit. And she had no way of knowing Melissa was lying about being pregnant. This story is illogical.
These things happened when parents don't call their children to order!!
Sounds like james and Melissa are perfect for each other..
nah james sounds chilled with a batshit crazy girlfriend.
The dad should’ve put Diane and Melissa in their place YEARS ago.
Who keeps plan B in their pocket at a party just in case their crazy girlfriend announces a pregnancy?
How can she hide the pregnancy info from sister AND rub it in her face simultaneously 😂
The BF just happened to have a plan B on him to put in her drink even though he didn’t know she was pregnant? 😂
My response to the accusations would be "your pregnant its probably morning sickness"
How do I know it's AI?
"update 4: one year later...." 🤦🏾♀️
Like I get the fact that this shit actually happens day-to-day in the real world..... but for Christ's sake.. upload actual stories, from actual reddit users.. not some dogshit AI story from meta or chat gpt.
27:43 funny how she tried to do the same thing, she is accusing OP of doing :/
I know this gotta be a creative writing piece, but if real, OP is the stupidest person around to let her biggest hater enter her home after she announced a miracle pregnancy.
I would never waste this much stress on another human being
It's funny how Melissa blames OP for showing her the footage, but she's the one who demanded to see the footage.
He claimed Melissa has been pressuring him for a while, he probably had them on hand
Why is she constantly being allowed IN YOUR HOME?
Melissa be like: 📽📽📽📽📽📽📽📽📽📽📽📽
So he just happened to have plan b on him lol okay 🤣
Anyone else questioning why James had a plan b to hand. Like how do you just find out ur gf is “pregnant” and you have a plan b already on ur persons to spike their drink. Very odd
The way the moment she started to rub in your face that she could easily get pregnant because you weren’t getting pregnant easily, I would’ve thrown hands so fast, in a speed of light😂 nobody messing with ME.
I'm still baffled on why we can watch active shootings and death on the internet but WORDS like accused need censored
Melissa's real plan probably was extorting some money out of OP and then marry James ... Diane wasn't happy, she was faking it . 😂
funny how "melissa" had it easy to call her dad also dad and says that its their dad XDDDDDD so yeah its obvious that OP gets more favoured because melissa was already a lot older so bonding was that easy
The therapist would need a therapist after the session with this family 😂
“Our” dad when he’s not Mellisa’s dad , she wanted him to be the type of guy who would cast out his bio kids for his step kids 💀
Bro she should have gone to court and file a lawsuit against op then when op shows the proof all hell lose broke she would has to pay money to her then he would have breaken up with her and then she was on the blame.
It’s like how op kept giving her chances over and over again. Bro and op is so annoying for not having a backbone
So people that have treated you terribly from the very beginning and you are surprised by the terrible things they do.
Open your eyes
The dad and daughter are doormats
One of the things that gets me is why did the boyfriend have a morning after pill just on hand
I am not sure but why can't people go adopt a child if they really want to be parents and can't have it?
OPs undecisiveness brought all these drama.
Best option for OP is to move the ef away. Cut your losses on your dad, bc he's not being a good one - this family is awful
Wtf is she expecting? Op is just gonna take being accused of poisoning her???
And why do I feel like op is not establishing enough boundaries??
Doesn’t make sense. BF didn’t even know about the baby. How’d he get it that fast?? Nope fake.
The thing is, Melissa couldn't prove anything. The footage would exonerate OP.
I have 6 step sisters, 1 step brother, 2 step nieces and 1 step nephew. I kinda hate and love it
So when are the fellows in the white coats coming to take Melissa to the happy home?
The dude just casually walks around with a plan B pill in his pocket? 😂
That is her that, that is what he is supposed to do.
