It really grinds my gears when these protagonists have rules in front of them and ignore them knowingly then plead for sympathy as the oogie boogies come and get them as a result. If I get some crazy set of rules somewhere I’m following them as long as necessary and then peace out ✌🏼 lol
I'm not opposed to "rules" stories, but why are they never even attempted to be explained to prevent newbies from breaking them? A clever person could create stories that would buy enough time to acclimatize people to strangeness before a number of disappearances that would have to be investigated by authorities.
Wow, that is amazing! What is a "NCR" Ranger? I lived in Phoenix in the late 90’s and the Sonoran Desert was INSANELY H☀️T! It was 122° on the day I decided to go to the Phoenix Zoo… We had to leave within 10 minutes of walking into the zoo! 🥵 How hot does the Mojave Desert get in the summer? Have a great day! Love from Texas ♥️🤠🌴
Mannnn ALOTTTTTT of these "rules" stories could be WHOLEYYYY avoided by someone saying "hey kid some reallyyyy weirdddd shit goes on around here, I know you won't believe me buttt justttt follow the rules and you'll be ok" Orrrr maybe if we got someone with some COMMON FUCKIN SENSE like if you get a job thats paying triple or quad for that industry and you get hired literally right away maybeee justtt maybeee you should back out... however if you choose to go anywayyyyy FOLLLOW THE DAMN RULESSSS
The rules is just damn unreasonable. Don't follow, don't look back, don't acknowledge. Mc never "followed" the scream, never "look back" at the footsteps, and how to even avoid acknowledging something? Why use those specific instructions when the rules itself didn't abide to them. If its written by someone, sure. Semantics. But no. It was later revealed to be written by "the forest" and it has no reason being unclear. might as well never written them and just take those souls.
@@RhazOfRheos Thinking about it, I'm pretty sure the rules are insubstantial or intentionally misleading because the game is rigged for the person to fail. Sort of like an old fashioned fairy tale. The goal of the forest is to eat people, so it sets impossible tasks/preconditions to lure people in. Maybe initially, the original group of rangers noticed what was going on and followed the rules, but eventually it became obvious that you couldn't "win". I'm almost positive that the protagonist's boss is well aware of this and just uses new recruits as forest food on purpose. 🤷 Either to save his own skin, or the occasional unaware passerby.
I'd really like a story like these where the new guy is actually told each of the rules by an old hand, shown proof and each and the consequences for breaking the rules. They are all just the same of someone gets left a vague list, no one else really acknowledges it, and just says "they are there for a reason". I feel it would add more realism to it if they were explained. I haven't been in a workplace yet where there isn't at least one person that is happy to info dump on the new guy as to why things are done, and all the juicy gossip about what happened to put the rules into place.
This was a good folklore story. Follow the rules or suffer the consequences. That is the essence of storytelling. Lessons in the guise of entertainment.
Wow, I’m here way earlier than usual! I hope CreepsMcPasta and everyone else has a 🎄Very Merry Christmas 🎁 and a 🎉Happy New Year!🥂In a month from now (Jan. 20, 2025), MANY things in America 🇺🇸 WILL start getting GREAT AGAIN which will lead to the Western WORLD 🌎 getting GREAT AGAIN too! The future looks sane and SO BRIGHT for the first time in decades ☀️😎 Love from Texas ♥️🤠🌴
Aah, right. The employer gives clear directives to the protagonist and they just break them. It's akin to knowingly putting your hand into a bench saw.
I've been listening to a bunch of creeps compilation stories from 3 years ago recently and it feels like his newer stories are voiced differently. Creeps sounds more monotone now almost like the video is slightly slowed down? Idk it might just be me but I don't like it.

Scary stories have finally moved past the "strange list of rules" era. Now we're in the era of "lists of ✨duties✨". So innovative

As the kid goes and breaks every rule

Guarantee that some idiot would be told everything, shown proof and consequences.....and still able to mess it up 😅

The strange set of rules creepypastas tend to be bad.
