@@caughtinaction No, but he had years of experience managing hotels, and at some points he was a credit manager so had to be able to "read" people. At the time of this conversation, we were talking about someone who was cheating me whom I took to small claims court.

Yeah, with a proven track record of deception and fraud, making him a seriously untrustworthy individual. He would have a very hard time to get any visa of any country, unless he deceives those countries also.

This makes me think about the people who might have slipped through, and now they're doctors, etc.!
Make me think about the dentist that messed up my tooth and caused me to need THREE teeth pulled, instead of the ONE tooth that had a cavity . I looked her up online not too long ago, and found out she ruined MANY people's teeth and they all said the same thing, she stuck them with the anesthesia needle several times in different areas of their mouths, which caused them extreme pain even years later, same as she did me . I also found out, in spite of the HIGH number of patients who claim she messed their teeth up, she opened another office a few years ago . Wouldn't it be interesting to find out SHE'S an illegal immigrant who's overstayed her visa ! After the years of pain she put me through and STILL didn't fix the initial tooth in question, I would LOVE to be the fly on the wall, when they send her back !

@@ginaa284 There's that saying that I see everywhere on social media - import the 3rd world, become the 3rd world. Now there're protests all over Canada by International students demanding that the gov extend their work permits so that they can potentially get a chance at getting PR in the future. Hopefully that doesn't go through.
What I don't get is why is a visa issued to them in the first place. The same questions can be asked during their visa application stage and clear these doubts.

Imagine "living as prisoners" in another country working with one fake identity and getting public assistance on another stolen identity. That seems like an awful lot of work for public assistance. Put some of that energy into a job and getting a real Visa. Doing the most for the least in return😭😂
The hilarity of getting citizenship, but under a false identity along with the irony of them having all the Christian imagery all over their house gets me.

When the agent asked the guy, " What was the name of the courses that you studied, and what was your attendance?" his body language with touching the bridge of his glasses, showed he was being deceptive and lying. He body and face were sweating. His glasses were sliding off the bridge of his nose, too.
Then his expression with bumping his face to his nose after being informed that she talked to his "college" is referred to as THE GOT YOU QUESTION!!

i got caught out years back by a Belarussian woman,who married me in UK,she disapeared months after getting leave to remain,from Derby,hired a PD,she was found in Bournemouth,it took immigration, after i wrote to them,10 months to reply,i also wrote to Mi 5,because i found a torn up envelope with Belorussian KGB insignia on it behind a cupboard,never a reply.
I'm an Australian who speaks English but the blonde lasses' accent is so strong I find it a bit hard to understand

I would check into these "colleges" .. set up to support students who are working over here when they shouldnt.
My roommate is an international student and I don’t know the name of his school or the courses he takes. It’s 90% online these days too, so his attendance would be even harder to check
No, it wouldn't. It would be very easy to verify all the times he logged on to the college website to do classwork.
Citizens from that part of the world have a very distant relationship to honesty. For them the truth is something as bendable as a rubber stick.

I understand that many of these individuals come from bad countries and they want to live a better life, but lying, having false documents and stealing identities of others makes everything harder for everyone. I don’t know the process of gaining citizenship in the UK, but these people have to be spending more money lying than being honest.

You know know it's your responsibility to make sure that you are legal in the UK. It's not up to security to come and find you because when they do, you're gonna be arrested, plain and simple. you're an overstayer
I liked the first officer. I understand that people are desperate to get the education and I have never experienced that desperation but you can't deceive and you can't lie. It's as simple as that and the officer basically said that. "You've already lied. Here's your hat, there's the door."

Here's a hint: if you're going to enter the UK illegally, don't try it by going to Scotland. They don't speak English there. LOL.
I wonder how many PR applicants are like the first chap. I think countries with high immigration don't really check if documents are fraudulent. As long as someone has a piece of paper they allow them in. Should only accept applicants from the top universities in the country that actually have some sort of reputation.
Also these fake colleges should be shut down.

I suspect that Indian guy didn't just sit at home for 8 months. He worked in that "uncle's " factory.
Why wasn't he questioned further about this?
I strongly believe that " uncle " illegally employs other workers too.
They could have passed this on to other authorities to investigate.
