Awesome interview as usual! Honestly, we could check in with Johnny every year and he’s MORE of a Legend!!! Thanks for hosting this!!! Just awesome!!!!
Thank you GetFPV. You stepped up your game and we could hear everything Johnny said. I'd trade a few skipped frames for the full interview audio every day. Johnny was one of big names that I didn't know much about his early journey in fpv. And I noticed all the sick footage in Red Notice but didn't know who the pilot was that got that footage for the movie. Good work.
The Johnny qav frame was the first 5" frame where I felt confident enough to fly more aggressively. I've moved on since because I could never find arms for replacements. But still I think it's a fantastic frame design.
Great interview guys! Enjoy seeing the people who have been in this early on. Can only imagine how hard it was to keep quads in the air back then with limited information and gear. 👍👍 Big take away here at 1:03:58 *Tune & Rates do NOT matter* ....interesting!
Living out here in SoCal not too far from Venice (even though I don't really venture out that way anymore due to congestion and parking), I can confirm there is hardly any place to fly. I'm sure there's nothing here that would challenge Johnny but we manage to find a few places. We are so crowded that parks are usually not an option because there are literally people everywhere. It's so frustrating. A few guys fly office parks on the weekends but since most are private property, there may be a few encounters with security. I've never tried. With Kwad Camp coming up in San Dimas, that might be a good chance to do some networking and do some meet-ups.
I picked up his 5" 6S from you guys' last year, flew it, loved it, broke it, fixed it 6 months later, tested it, it worked, took an hour and 4 packs the other fall day to fly and shoot a downtown, hometown reel. Stop by and let me know what you think of my handywork with your gear. 🤔🙂 It's the A fine fall day video.
In this case Johnny just lives in a very populated area that is always busy. To go anywhere to have open space that isn't full of other people would require driving a few hours outside of town.
Johnny- you’ve been my FPV hero since 2017. So happy to see the places you’ve gone. 100% deserved. Thanks for doing this interview!
Thanks for watching, we agree!
@@GetFPV and of course- thanks for doing this awesome series! Love every one and look forward to the next.

Cool glad to hear it worked well for you. If you still need arms they are in stock now, - www.getfpv.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=johnnyfpv%20arm
Very cool 🤘🏼 True FPV living legends
This felt more like how can we relate to Johnny versus how can we interview Johnny. Hilarious and sad.
Awesome interview

Hola
Why do people in California always say there is nowhere to fly? Do they have laws against flying drones there?
In this case Johnny just lives in a very populated area that is always busy. To go anywhere to have open space that isn't full of other people would require driving a few hours outside of town.
@@GetFPV Ahh. I've heard Ummagawd and Kabob also say they have no place to fly and I think they all live in California. So I was wondering about that.
I can't see comments am i the only one?
