Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I have been watching all your videos up to this point and will continue to watch them all until I am all caught up. I cannot thank you enough for offering your time and talent to all of us beginners. It will save me a lot of frustration here in a few weeks as my floor loom comes together and I warp it for the first time. I just has knee surgery and we picked the loom up two days before my surgery.
Thank you for making these videos. You are a wonderful teacher. I have learned to much. I live a long way from a place to take classes. These is great.
These are the clearest instructions I've ever seen, with great explanations for why you are doing each step. They have given me confidence in going ahead with my 1st weaving project on my own!
Martha, I'm so glad the videos have been helpful to you! People who are not able to get somewhere that offers classes, like you, are exactly who I had in mind when I decided to make these lessons. Thank you for your kind feedback and please let me know if you have any questions. Enjoy!
omg finally instructions I can understand! !! I am currently taking the steps to beginning my first project! may I ask what kind of warping reel is this /where can I get one at a decent price? :)
+Brittany - Thank you for your comment. I know you'll do great with your first project. The warping reel in the videos is made by Harrisville Designs. I think they run about $275.00 or so. You can look around in places like Yarn Barn and The Wollery for options and prices. Also, check out used equipment on the internet. Sometimes you can find a good deal on a gently used accessory. Good luck and enjoy!!!
so i'm doing a blanket and my warp has a 15 EPI , for a 3 yd blanket.. at 50".. i need 2,250 yrd O.o!! i think I may go nuts before I even get to warping..LOL..
