thank u very much, this was much more clearer! I have another question how to park only position of a group of fixtures, I tried sel fix park if position but it park the entire fix. 🤷♂️
Those represent stage directions. For example, DS is down stage, and SR is stage right. These acronyms help me know which fixture selection is stored to that group, especially if the group only contains a portion of a certain fixture type, based on their location.
@@mwlighting many thanks! And last question, using groups. I still don't understand very well when it's better to use group preset on layout instead the grid selection
Think of it like this. Layout views can give you a visual representation of your stage, fixtures and subfixtures, all depending on how you choose to set them up. Selection grids are meant to represent how a phaser will move across your selection.
You can press “Assign”, select your group, and then select any executor. This will, however, only act as a group master, so it will not output light, but instead limit your overall intensity for the selected group. If you want to control intensity (dimmer), select the group, select your dimmer preset or set a dimmer value in the feature group labeled “Dim”, press store, and then select an executor to store to.

I think I saw your post about this on a Facebook page. It should be “Park FeatureGroup 2” if I’m not mistaken.
Hello my friend. What does it mean DS DC and so on? Thanks
