You've done a fantastic job on those models...Really good...I'm learning all the time...Haven't done a kit with engine showing yet as I'm still at the stage of wanting to see aircraft in all their streamlined beauty...but I will at some point

Thanks for your comments, if you are new or still exploring the hobby I would recommend the Tamiya 1/48 scale Me BF109 G6 as this comes with an engine and will require no aftermarket parts for this build. This will be a trouble free introduction into more involved aircraft builds.
I have one in the stash to build but that may be some time off. 👍

@@creativetimewasting Thanks for the reply...I'll look into the Bf109....I've got 3 vids on my channel if you want to see where I'm at in terms of standard...I appreciate any critique good or bad...I modelled when I was a kid in the 70's and picked the hobby back up now retired...I mix all my own colours as I was a prof. muralist for 35 years...I was still learning at the end and I think scale modelling will be the same for me

I know what you mean about the old eyesight, I must admit 1/72 kits are becoming hard work for me. never built an Eduard kit, there are some very negative reviews online but the Mk VIII of yours looks fantastic, thanks for sharing.

Eduard have some great detail but sometimes have some minor faults. Although nothing that can’t be sorted.

Thanks, which aircraft do you mean?
The spit was AK Real Colour and Tamiya.
      Hurricane AK Real Colour.
Fw190, Tamiya and Revell enamels. 👍

Ok no problem, so yes AK for the lower colour and Tamiya for the upper grey. Both thinned with AK thinners.

Good luck with the kit, on the whole it is excellent. Just watch out for the tricky exhausts, the poor fitting of the centre lower lamp, I would fit that when the fuselage half’s are glued together before you fit the wings.
I would also replace the engine top cover too with an Eduard or Barracuda replaced resin part.
