The magnitude of maturation from age 18 to 21 might be about the same as from age 3 to 6, but we experience it at far less because it’s just a small part of our collective memories. This includes our functional memory - the repository of those things we do without thinking much about them like driving - and our ability to decide to learn new things.

    Ayurvedic practitioner here....
we believe that MOST health issues start from weak or imbalanced digestive fire.
This can then create toxins which slowly get deeper into the tissues if not treated..
These toxins can settle in different areas for different people, so some people may outwardly have good looking skin, yet have issues in other more “unseen” areas.
Skin can be one indicator that digestive fire is effected which according to Ayurveda DOES also effect the ability to digest and process emotions as well as mental clarity.

Lets not forget that stress does not only comes from work or daily life. It mainly come s from not having a strong emotional support system. If jm stressed at work and come home to a loving husband or family idgf about stress or work related issues. If im in a fast faced work but come home to a calm home, loving animals or humans lol the my cortisol levels will remain even. But also working more rhan 6 hrs for women is draining bc our. I think women’s overall endurance is better (ie check out the ultra long distance swimmers, the best ones are women) while men are more built for explosive strength/pushing that last bit. I do agree with you regarding not having a strong enough support system being a form of stress.

It was hell going through this awakening in the first stage for over a year. Now I'm a completely different person. I'm at peace, have confidence, wisdom, and intelligence. I'm at peak intuition. I even know answers to questions I have no knowledge about when I take quizzes online. It can be about history, medical, stoicism etc.. can you do a podcast on the brain when it goes through the spiritual awakening process of killing its ego to the final stages. I'd really appreciate it. Keep up the awesome work. I appreciate you and all your hard work 👏💚

This has shaped our cultural, economic and political landscape for generations, we need more discourse on alternative / dialectical structures... more socialism over capitalism.

Although there is so much advancement on these topics and they are widely available, unfortunately, these fields still don't seem to connect in many cases. I generally agree with Dr Tara. However, I believe she is incorrect in saying at 1:55 that reading a full newspaper today would be more information than someone received a hundred years ago. That's simply not true. Let's just talk about the USA... It's clear to anyone who studies history of a hundred+ years ago that, although there were times when only wealthy people received a full education, a hundred years ago in the States, even common people were quite well educated. Most people were literate, and the average student was exposed to philosophy, science, religion, history, and chronology, among other subjects. Not only were they receiving lots of information, but the quality of the information far exceeds that of your average school today. I have copies of secondary school exams from 100-150 years ago that would stump even the most intelligent people today. I find the idea that we're so knowledgeable now as opposed to people centuries ago laughable and dishonest.

She lost all credibility the moment she linked the rise in the number of Autism diagnoses with screen time. The study showed that increased screen time doesn’t cause Autism, it can however cause increased symptoms. The Autism has to exist in the first place i.e. screen time hasn’t caused Autism, it was a pre-existing condition.

First of all: Some Neanderthals lived to old age, one of the first skeletons found was arthritic and yet believed to be normal physiology, hence the misguided belief that cavemen were hunched and decrepit. Instead, current anthropologists have determined that the hunched Neanderthal was old and well-cared for by its people.
Second: One hundred years ago was 1924. People living then -- depending on their birth year -- experienced the first airplane, the first automobiles, the sinking of the Titanic, The Great War, the 1918 epidemic, Prohibition, the wireless Telegraph and [drumroll] radio. They also had newspapers one hundred years ago that were just as informative or even more so than today's practically non-existent newspapers.
I'll try to continue watching, but if she spouts out any more BS I am clicking off.
Edit again: 39:35 ... Talking about the family we grew up in and she says, "the person they identify us as." Exactly. Not WHO we are [who I am], but the person THEY BELIEVE we are [I am].

Like I don't know a single woman that hasn't been a victim of s*xual violence and boundary crossing... Hope it at least wasn't the only thing that she said since the focus shouldn't be on men in this scenario
