Brilliant Jesse! It was like being there all over again! You captured it really well!! Fantastic video. I really enjoyed it! I think I my favourites were the astronaut one and the church ruins and the wildlife projections.
Hello Jesse, A wonderful video about the "Bristol Light Festival 2024" and you have a really good camera resolution on your smartphone! I definitely agree with you that the astronaut who was initially holographically projected into the (with this, I think, space station on the beginning?) St. Paul's Church is incredible, I was also very impressed by these time tunnel-like arches and the dolphins which reflected in the water of the port...but the coolest thing was definitely the end where it is written that 'Bristol is always worth a trip'! But each of the attractions has something beautiful and special about them, at least that's how I feel! Many greetings from Deutschfeistritz, Styria, Austria 🇦🇹, Christoph 😊👌💡✨
It's an incredible festival which is currently an annual event, it's getting more popular every year so I'm sure it'll still be on when you move here 😁 The astronaut was my favourite one 😁 Though I have to admit I don't use my phone 😊
@@JessesGrandDaysOut I'm also really excited to see this incredible festival for myself one day! 😎 The astronaut was very impressive and exciting, I agree! 🌌 Ooh, if you didn't use your smartphone, what did you use to take these beautiful shots, Jesse? 😊✨
Jessie this was absolutely amazing. I seen an advert on Facebook for this & just scrolled past not realising it would be this good. I so wished id gone now. Your DJI Pocket camera performed very well in the low light. The picture quality was very good. The spaceship on the inside of the church roof looked so real. I enjoyed the video so much i ended up watching it twice. 😊
Thank you so much Martin, it was incredible this year. I must admit I stayed to watch the astronaut one several times. I looked up night settings for the DJI - cranking the ISO right up (was quite pleased it didn't end up too noisy though - was a bit worried 🤣). P.S It's still on if you wanted to check it out - ends on the 11th Feb.
Thank you so much for sharing.... Looked an amazing display and plenty to see. The two church displays were beautiful. It's a shame I never got round to viewing the Christmas Lights in Torquay 😢

These were my favourites too, though I did enjoying going through the light tunnel in the amphitheatre too 😁
@@JessesGrandDaysOut Ah I did not spend much time there as my battery went and I needed to get back to the bus. It did look awesome though.

I use the DJI Pocket 2 😃
@@JessesGrandDaysOut
The DJI Pocket 2 takes really nice shots even at night, is this camera very expensive in the UK? 😊👌
Well, that was absolutely incredible! Thank you for the tour Jesse. Great work!
Thanks Paul, every year this gets better and better and there was some incredible installations this year 🥰
@@JessesGrandDaysOut I think I might have a wander there myself! Looks fantastic!
I highly recommend a visit if you can!

@@JessesGrandDaysOut Oooh I might go to see the light show then. I just thought it was over the weekend only. 😊
What an amazing free event. Ascendance looked stunning, you almost forget to breathe.
We're very lucky to have it on our doorstep, agree Ascendance is incredible!
Thanks for showing us Jesse. What do you use to film on? I'm using my phone at the moment but looking to improve
For the last 3 months or so I've been using the DJI Pocket 2 and before this the Canon G7X Mark 2.
