Hi Snorri, good question and the answer is yes..the zinc coating on the nuts was a pain,,the chrome on the spanners was a nightmare too...but i basically burned through it all. good luck with your build buddy.
Thanks. I might have to take the zinc away with citric acid before I try this because one or two breaths of the fumes and I'm in bed for a week with a sore throat and cough. Practically get pneumonia from the stuff :/

It's a stool to sit on whilst Tig welding.

they certainly have their place..personally i only use one at the shop..welding outside i stick to a conventional hood :)
