- UGH!!! Decisions Decisions. I mean, I really can't go wrong here. On one hand, I have a spectacular statement of a dress that will be seared into the evening, and on the other, I’ve got a wearable classic @carolinaherrera shirt dress I’ll wear forever…and its in the most delicious shade of cerulean 😅

I just saw The Nutcracker Ballet last night so I might have a bias thinking that dress is like a chic 80s Sugar Plum Fairy, and you are literally the only person I can imagine making that work - not because it's not a gorgeous piece, but because you need a certain kind of energy to rule a dress like that and YOU'VE got that in spades.

The blue shirt dress is the way to go. It’s such a gorgeous dress but such a timeless structure of a garment that it would look great with colorful accessories and shoes. You have more range with the timeless structure to emphasize that beautiful blue.

I would say the blue dress has a lot more versatility. I love the way you seamlessly make evening wear look casual and vice versa.

I think that if you have an event coming up where you could wear the black then go for the black but if not, go for the blue!! Because I have so many fancy dresses that just sit staring at me and by the time I have something to wear them to, I don’t love them as much as I did. You’ll get so much wear out of the blue even though it’s still fancy!!
