15:30 🎉🎉🎉 wow 😊 no longer worried there 🎉🎉🎉 I am always on the edge about taking the plunge and paying for a big show - ugh - y’all make me wonder 😅😅😅 new arrangement looks great!
Go for it!!! It was definitely the most packed market we've attended but it should be based on how much you pay to be there lol. I've got a new arrangement in the works that is similar to what we did for this one but will work better in an outdoor setting. That wooden shelf is actually an Ikea shelf we use in our house and isn't overly travel friendly lol so I got a different type.
Thank you so much!! It is definitely a lot easier/funner/better to have a partner there with you. And it was kind of like a vacay but without any relaxation lol
Ahhh so happy you met your goal!!! Your booth looked really good in person, I think it was one of the better booths at the market. Not sure if you realized the booth right by you that the name of it was “Bailey”. I thought it was funny when I saw it because it seemed appropriate that a Bailey booth would be next to you LOL.. Im so happy to hear that the market was successful. I keep debating on setting up at that market but the fee is pretty heft so I really need to have the right merchandise to sell to make it worth my while. It was good meeting you guys and maybe we will run into you again at a future event. 😊
Haha yeah me and the girl from Bailey Bee's became friends! I went up to her and let her know that I was also Bailey. She was from North Carolina too which is where I'm from originally so that was pretty funny too. We are so grateful that you stopped by & visited with us. I'm sure we will see you again soon :)
It really is!! One of my worst memories of going to NC State was walking with my Jasmine pesto chicken panini going back to my dorm and when I was almost back I dropped it lol :(
Thank you so much I really appreciate that! It's definitely a goal of mine to be as kind as possible to everyone in general so it means a lot to have someone think I'm nice!
Congrats on a successful market! Just a tip, for future indoor markets, you may want to get a double bar clothing rack where you can hang your clothes on top of each other.... I use them for my children's clothing and it takes up less floor/ booth space than the round racks.
Thank you so much! I am definitely moving away from the round racks and looked up some double racks on Amazon for future indoor events! I really thought the round racks would be good I'm a little disappointed that they turned out to be kind of a bust. I have a new set up that I'm working on that should help solve the space problem and I will definitely look into the rack you suggested for future events!
It would be interesting to know your viewpoint after you figure out what your net profit was after costs of inventory, if you still felt pumped about it.
It was definitely exciting to have such a large amount of sales at one time but yes if we are comparing to other events where I made like $300-400 but spent $50 and was closer to home then money wise it isn't the most successful but in terms of experience it was really exciting and worth it. I am glad that we did it because I was able to try something new and was able to do it with my husband, I was able to show you all, and I met some really fun people. I would definitely do it again for the experience and I think because I've done it I know some things I could change to help make it more successful in the future. Also I don't regret it because I was able to maybe help someone else who is considering doing the event in the future!
I would have had the shelves in the corner angled, then one of the racks with the bags next to it, the clothes rack in front on the other side, with the other rack between the clothes and table. Just a thought.
Girl you’re close to me. I’m in Clearwater. Any tips on someone just starting out? I’m doing car freshies, reusable beaded freshie hangers, beaded pens and wine stoppers, and room/car spray
wow that was an awesome market....you did great! I live in Tx. I am new to all of this. I was wondering was that a street festival with a vendor market or was that advertised just as a craft market? I have been in 2 craft markets and both were not that great. So I was wondering what I should be looking for. Any advice on markets craft shows would help. Thanks and continued good luck to you and your husband.
The Markets for Makers is advertised as a craft fair! They travel around the US hosting large markets with tons of vendors. It's definitely hit or miss with markets, I feel especially in southern states. What I would do is try to find some of your local farmer's markets on Instagram and look at who is coming to their events and see if they post where they are going to be. That's how I started out with my research to find markets. You can also use a website called Marketspread to find local events near you :)
Quick question how do you find the craft show I’m in OH and I’m starting my own my small business but how do I find the craft shows. Do yall also go out state? I’m new to your channel. Thanks
Hey friend so sorry for the late response! I have a couple of methods that I use for finding shows, I start by googling craft fairs in my area and that will usually bring me to a few Instagram pages of different events in my area. You can also go to Facebook and there will be different vendors groups you can join (for example I'm in a group that's called vendors needed for events in central Florida). We don't currently go out of state because we have small children and our family lives out of state so it would be a whole ordeal lol.
I’m laughing cause I’m seeing a bunch of people I know cause I live up near Jax. I lived in Jax for over 20 years and now I’m out in the country about 30 mins from Jax. I’m glad you had a good market.
Congratulations Bailey, I'm so glad you had a successful event, I was nervous when you said the event was $700, in a previous vlog. I'm not as brave as you, because I would have never did this event and would have lost a lot of income 😢like they say "scared money don't make no money " 😂.
Thank you so much! I definitely dive head first into things like this, it can be very scary to spend so much on events and it was a big gamble. In a way I was kind of hoping to not get accepted to it but when I did I was really excited lol. Even if it didn't go well I would have been happy to get some intel for anyone watching my videos who are thinking about attending.
Definitely the mushroom earrings for your dress outfits. The guillotine earrings do not portray your sweet disposition and may give the wrong impression for your sales.
@googoogoods Hi Bailey. Yes, I see that by the end of the day, that you did buy them. I do like the pink color and the heart shape. It does soften them and make them cute. Wishing you the best at all your vendor shows!
I do embroider most of my items, I sublimated items, and did some of the designs and follow through with suppliers of items but thank you for the feedback! If you would just like to call it a vendor market you are also free to do so if that sounds more accurate to you :)

If I was security and saw you walk on in , I wouldn't question you either...Folks as yourself naturally have that good wholesome vibe
Lol I do have a naturally trustworthy face and I've also been told if you do anything with confidence no one will question you!!

Congratulations Bailey! So happy you guys had such a fantastic show and that you did so well. 👋😃
Thank you so much!!! We really had a great time!
Congratulations!! Love that you sold out of the nativity shirt!
What's funny is I made a lot of them for the next week's market and didn't sell like any lol
that looks like a lovely market, glad to hear it went well for you 😍
Thank you so much! Hopefully we can go again in the spring!
Pls post more vlogs like this!! I love you whole energy!
Thank you so much!! I post twice a week check it out!!
@@googoogoods You don't have to tell me twice!!💓

This looks like a great market. Congrats 🎉
Thank you so much! It was definitely a lot of work but we had a lot of fun!
Bailey, any plans for the craft show in Gainesville?
Hey! I don’t have any craft shows in Gainesville scheduled right now! Are there any good ones coming up I should check out?
Girl you’re close to me. I’m in Clearwater. Any tips on someone just starting out? I’m doing car freshies, reusable beaded freshie hangers, beaded pens and wine stoppers, and room/car spray
Howdy neighbor! Are you looking for tips for starting out with markets or just your business in general?

Dont forget the cost of gas, hotel room and C.O.G.S. You need to count those costs in as well. But looks like you're doing well there.
Can u tell me where you get your two toned sweatshirts that you embroidered the manatee on? Thanks
Hey! I actually get them custom made for me from a manufacturer!

12:00 isn’t that the couple from the RUclips channel fathering autism?
I'm not sure!! I'm not familiar with that channel so I can't really tell!
The table prices are ridiculous. I'm from the UK and never paid over £15 a craft show
Yes it was definitely very pricey!!!
Definitely the mushroom earrings for your dress outfits. The guillotine earrings do not portray your sweet disposition and may give the wrong impression for your sales.
I did really like the mushrooms! I did get the guillotine ones though lol. So far only positive comments about them!!

Haha you're tired not because you got an extra hour but because you lost one ;)
Haha this was actually in November so this is when we fell back and gained an hour!

Don’t see this as a craft fair when your stuff is allcomercally made! Unfair to people who make their own stuff !
