I got put in the hole for over 60 days in upstate NY in a jail. Half ration food of the already light food regular inmates got , no commisary , no tv , no books!!! Not even a bible!!! Just me in a cage with nothing but me. And it was FREEZING in there!! If not exercising i had to stay under the thin blanket curled up in fetal position wearing the 2 sets of linen s allowed.
Tell me again how this is supposed to "correct" a person?!?

Some of which feel it is their job to further punish you by making stupid remarks , "accidentally" dropping your food on the floor and too lazy to give the 1 hr recreation time more often than not is it any wonder recidivism is 80% +? I was a C/O in a county jail (men & women) for nearly a year, I had to quit due to some.....circumstances, but I concur because my coworkers were absolute monsters. Hearing your stories makes me feel so lucky and blessed that I never went to jail/prison or went down that path. I can’t fathom what it’s truly like to be in there. I would be terrified for my life. And to see that you’ve been there and to see what you’ve become shows how strong and amazing you are. Like wow. I wish there was some sort of program for people who get out so they don’t end up back there. It would really make a change. I hope your positivity opens up some doors so more people who have been to jail or prison make it in life. It’s terrible how people are treated in there. Like why is it even allowed? I know people make bad decisions and they need to have punishment but that’s just pure torture.

girllll... i had to pause at 21:52 because the story you just walked me through gave me anxiety... I've never even given going to prison a thought before but you made me feel that way. I'm not sure exactly what the talent you have is, I don't think it can be narrowed down into a specific genre, but I know you have a lot of it.
I've been a subscriber for a while, you're prison stories was what got me interested, for whatever reason, but your energy is what made me stay. It's been a while since I watched tbh, but I saw you in my recommended tonight and I knew I needed to click because I've been feeling distant from my spirituality, and even in a video where you aren't speaking about spirituality, you make me feel closer to it.. Genuinely wish the best for you, thank you for shining so bright and being an inspiration.

When I was in prison there was one lady that kept pooping in the shower and stomping it down the drain. She used the same shower every time and it was so bad that maggots started infesting the drain and grout of the shower. Nobody could figure out who was doing it but that's just one of those things. You don't think people could be that disgusting but you come in contact will every type of person in there. I've got some weird stories from prison. I'm grateful for the time I spent, I learned a lot and matured alot. It changed my life for the better because all I know is that I NEVER EVER want to go back. I made some great friends in there too. Someone who saved my life in the real world after getting out.

About the eating disorder question: I didn’t have anorexia until I was put in a psych ward, which is basically a prison except you don’t go to trial or know when you’ll be released. I still struggle with it and PTSD because of the absolute lack of self determination and disrespect for my bodily autonomy. My eating disorder was/is the way for me to regain control. Abuse of all kinds absolutely does cause or trigger eating disorders.

Bless your sweet heart... you tearing up talking about how you wouldn't make it in prison now leaving your kids.. ugh! You had me crying! That was true real emotion from a very loving mother. ❤❤

Just wonder if, when you talk about your time in prison, does it make you have feelings of PTSD? I appreciate you telling us about your time but, I wouldn’t feel right if you pushed yourself constantly to talk about your past.

JCB MaMa I wonder that as well. But I don’t think she’d do these if they affected her super negatively because of how intelligent she is and now that she loves herself. ♥️

Thats a good point for you to bring up and I'm curious too. Christina just seems like that type of person who has been through a lot of shit but is also able to acknowledge it and move past it. I could be wrong though.

The way you talk about sharing or wanting to help someone out that you saw needed it in prison goes to show that your loving caring heart was always there, your circumstances growing up just prevented that from blossoming and I’m sure that’s the case for so many people in jail/prison. Not making excuses, like you always say, about your choices or the choices of others that didn’t help the bad situation. But it just goes to show how much potential people have when given the right opportunities. ♥️

Another fun fact: its really beautiful to see a person change. Just know you can see the wrong in your old self you can feel embarrassed and disgusted in that old self but just remember it may have affected that person more or less than you know. And they still have the choice to forget and forgive or remember you as old you. Its hard to be faced with but a bitter sweet reminder of where you came from. Lifes a b sometimes like that and how powerful it is to be your own judge. Im so proud of you saying sorry now im gonna try the same. And i wont even get mad at them for hating old me actions because at least i know now old me was wrong many times and i can agree with the best of em damn old me whyyyy was u so bad😂and such a terror. Thank you for setting a beautiful example!
