Excellent! And I also think that her slow and deliberate style is deliberate and calculated. I have seen other female comics, who speak so fast that I can't quite understand what they're trying to say. And they use so many tones in each sentence that I have the same problem. But the longer I listen to her the better I can understand her. And she is very much worth the wait. I hope I can see her act again in 5 years. Or next week, on tour! Come to Seattle!

@Jane, accents are mostly muscle memory associated to speech patterns. If you speak your native language frequently, you'll likely never develop a perfect accent for your secondary language. Most people who have English as a secondary language use English daily, but also use their primary language frequently for family, and thus retain the accent that they grew up with. You can always seek help through speech therapy, which teaches you to build that muscle memory, but most people won't because it's a lot of extra effort for something that really doesn't make much of a difference (to other people).

She has lived in Canada for 10 years, though, and if she studied hard -- which I am 100% sure that she did -- I could see a decade making her this good at English.
