Beautiful build! I was curious about how you got the turbo flutter? I see you’re using the Forge BOV. Is it the atmospheric or recirculating? And is that what’s giving it the sounds or something else?
@@hangterisaan assuming I’m not going for power straight away but instead with handling and mechanical grip. Is the body the same between the S and JCW? Other than coilovers and brakes being better on the JCW, what’s about cooling system?
@@mathieuestibals2319 cooling system is the same. But i had mine changed with the tune, stock it regulates at 105°C for coolant temp, mine regulates for 95 now.
@@hangterisaan ok thanks man! Because this would be my first project car, and if I buy a JCW to swap out the brakes (to some 330s) and the coilovers (to some nice KW) and the control arms as well, I would feel bad doing so on a JCW. My main goal atm is not power but just handling.. Hence my debate on cooper S or jcw ..
Did you find a filter to replace it? I have the same one that I've had for years, but I couldn't find a replacement filter so I changed it back to stock. Thanks.
Your car is a dream dude, insane. Speaking to anyone who reads this who has a modded car. I am about to stage 2 my R56 mini and am curious what sort of resale value you get after doing all the mods - even if it's all done professionally by big tuning companies like Avon Tuning. Is it really hard to sell a well modded car and is the car by default under market price if it's modded?
keep your stock parts, swap them back in and resell your boltons individually is the most fiscally minded way. The real answer, if resale is a factor don't mod it. If you're okay with losing out on the money you put in, go for it and enjoy it. Mine's stage 2 (Mario tune, invidia exhaust, milltek downpipe, k&n diy intake, amazon intercooler, forge hoses, colder plugs, NMengineering torque mount, hawk hps pads, WMW 25.5mm rear sway bar). In total i spent about $3000 to get it here.

You did such a great job with this mini. Congrats bro. One of the coolest r56's I've seen
Brilliant car, have a blast with it!!
Total unicorn build. She’s perfect :D
JDM style in a british/german car Cool, bro
i'm in love JDM culture ^^
Interesting choice for routing the air intake into the firewall.
NICELY DONE.
beautiful, looks like my R59
This is incredible. It's like a mini-batmobile.
Nice! My R53 is getting a full make over into a prototype JCW GP. Now I have to figure how to remove 50lbs of fatmat I installed into the mini. LOL.
Hi, could you tell me more about the specs of tyre and wheels?
Hola cuál es la marca de la válvula de descarga del turbo que usas ????
What's the name of that shifter setup you have?......i need one
Nice Set bro
What type is your forge blow of valve??
Beautiful
Thanks U ^^

Did it flutter stock or did change the spring to create the noise? All the videos I see of Forge BOVs have a 'psshh' noise. Thanks!@@zukkadukk
@@starbucks1891 It was a black spring. I bought the FORGE kit on ebay. in used condition
@@zukkadukk Never heard a true Forge unit sound like that.
Is it best to use a JCW or Mini Cooper S for a project car as a foundation from your experience? (Assuming it’s a r56 with n18 engine)
Jcw has better turbo to start with. But both are capable. Running 270 hp on a S turbo. It's running 1.25 bar boost

JCWs are overpriced anyways for what you get. You can get an S and do everything and better than a JCW.

mine was new only 5k miles on it . it was K&N filter you must check it
Do you have any pics or vids of where you connected the AEM nozzle on the intake

Catch can fitting size?
I love the build, but god the angry headlights made me bust out laughing. It's almost as bad as angry Jeeps.
did you run a 0-100 test ? i've just seen a JCW R56 300 HP got it in 6.1 sec, not sure !! ? excited to know your car timings tho ..
5.86 sec but it was tested in winter -5c.
and front camber was -3.0 /
and 100-200 12.95sec
I love the rims I’ve been looking for a good set of bronze rims. Where would I get those
you must search ROTA GRID on google if someone is selling. color is custom made by me
