I was going this route but, there's no way to make the plastic timing chain guides robust so they would not crumble when they fail and your engine fails after spending all that money in forging the engine. I just went the k swap route with my mini cooper s.
I just purchased a R56 with auto. Could you recommended a good turbo upgrade that wont break the bank? Is it possible to change the tranny to automatic? Sources say yes but its a pain

I have an R56 that I just got to stage 2 and now it doesn’t want to start up right away. I have to turn it over 6+ times to get it to start and it barely starts up. It sounds like it’s going to die but after a minute it starts running normally until I shut it off and start it again. Is the problem the HPFP or is it something else?
The dude says everything is strong and good but you still have to reeinforce everything… Dude open a Toyota engine or a Honda engine and see how things are made, those are strong engines that dont need to make anything internaly to make good power… just bolt a turbo, ic and injectore and puff 400hp 500hp easy…
These things break with the stock horsepower so it’s crazy to try to up the power at all because they are crap ! Oh I had a few of these so I’m not just a guy crapping on this video.
I definitely would not be opposed to more videos and series like this 👍

I think that’s engine coolant temperature sensor or ECT sensor. Might want to check out pumps too
You might need to upgrade fuel pump if you havent yet already

Do yourself a favor and just build a civic. A 500hp civic is faster than a 600hp Cooper. Lol.
