You heave off the pack, the day’s exertion done. The stove hissing away, the gentle flapping of the fly sheet in the wind. You can’t beat it. Nice video, lovely dog.

At the ripe old age of 50, I'm slowly building up to my first wild camp and since stumbling across your channel, you're proving to be a real inspiration, particularly as your pooch tags along! I'd love to take my pooch camping, but he'd need a 2 man tent just for himself (he's a big lad, lol).

Thank you Amber for sharing another lovely video with us. I have to wonder if when you do your walk away shots, such as in the closing sequence, Cadi is sent back to fetch the camera and tripod. I think that's probably how it works ! Keep up your great work.
If I could train her to do that, I would! 😂 no she just gets really confused when I keep running back for the camera 🙈

It will be here in no time, I’m also a lover of spring time camping, warmer than winter but no midges and crowds like in the summer! Perfect.
@@AmberinEryri In about 4-5 months...then I'll be out again😊 Midges and all😅 Thank god I live in a huge wild nature area-easy to find places where noone else will come, and certainly not camp in😁 Until then, I'll enjoy yours and Cuddys camping trips🤗🇧🇻

Hadn't been able to watch your last couple of videos since you were saying goodbye to an old friend it just bought back all the pain from when we lost our dog even though it was 5 years ago - we have owned a few dogs before they lived about 15 to 17 years so you can get used to the idea they wont be there forever but when its an accident so unexpected such a shock even though we bought another maybe to quickly as it was so quiet without Alfie well sorry I wanted to say how sorry I was Amber but couldnt do it at the time - anyway always enjoy your videos Amber thanks xx

@@AmberinEryri I've been so lucky, stamina and brains bless her. Really easy to train to the whistle and hand commands. Best dog I've ever had and would jump at the chance of another. Weve been hiking together on Dartmoor where we live for 3 yrars but only started wild camping at the end of last year but she took to it so well, can't wait for more this year. Your videos are definitely giving us the inspiration, thank you.

There’s not many ticks around at this time of year! Winter/spring is your best bet.

Nice to see your dog is cosy inside your tent under your coat,some you tubers that take their dogs make them sleep in the vestibule,even when the weather is snowing and cold,which i disagree with,a great vid,and a sub from me! Keep up the content 👍
Wow, really? I’m constantly thinking about her being warm enough on a camp, which is why I don’t always take her if it’s really cold, I don’t think it’s fair on her. But I think she does love getting cosy with me snuggled in the tent, we use each others warmth. Thanks for the kind comment Pete.

Great Vlog Amber and a beautiful spot for a camp, your dog is such a good girl. Can you please tell me where you got the light you had outside of your tent and the little robot for your drink. Thank you.
The light is from UCO a few years ago, butI think you can buy on Amazon now. And the robot strainer was bought as a gift almost 10 years ago, but its cute isn’t it 🥰 I love loose leaf tea, so I have a few different types of strainers at home, but love the little quirky ones.

No this is my camera that I use now all the time, it’s a Fuji XT30. The tent is a Southern Cross one, I’m sure a quick Google will give you the specifics on it, weight and cost etc.. 😁👍🏻 great tent.
Would you mind giving your verdict on the Southern cross vs the Enan? I had an Enan but sent it back as I really wasn’t impressed with it and now the southern cross is on my watch list! Many thanks in advance.
I also don’t like the enan. It’s my partners tent and he loves it but I find it a real faff when pitching and then keeping it taught in winds. Love the southern cross, so far it’s held up really well and so easy and quick to assemble in ‘not so great’ weather!
I genuinely felt robbed at the price I paid! I’m ocd about my tent pitch and for the life of me I couldn’t get the Enan taught. I sent it back to Taunton leisure and their team looked it over and they agreed that something wasn’t right. Thank you for getting back to me. All the best for 2022!
