- I stayed in an Oceanview Stateroom onboard my Royal Caribbean Cruise on the Enchantment of the Seas cruise ship. My Oceanview Stateroom was room 2140 on Enchantment of the Seas, one of the oldest cruise ships operated by Royal Caribbean. The cruise ship currently sails from Baltimore to the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Canada, and Bermuda.
I set sail on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Enchantment of the Seas. This Royal Caribbean cruise on Enchantment of the Seas took me to Bermuda for a 3-day stay. This was my first time sailing from Baltimore, my first time to Bermuda, and my first time on an older Royal Caribbean ship. Enchantment of the Seas is the third oldest Royal Caribbean cruise ship.

You didn't mention 2 of the most important things in this room. THE most unknown item is the 5" dehumidifier (shown on 7:01m) on the ceiling of the shower, which is constantly sucking up humidity/water. Therefore I strongly suggest cruiser places the wet item (swimsuit, anything washed by you, etc) nearest to this "vent". If timing if of an essence, draw the shower curtain around wet items, and the chances increase as to drying these the soonest. For the same reason, keep your toilet lid closed, or it will be sucking up it's water! #2... when traveling "solo", split the two twin beds apart, so that there will be much more "walkiing room" in the middle of room.
I believe the knob is volume control for the PA system.
Older ships tended to have a higher percentage of their cabins as either interior cabins or ocean view cabins. Newer ships tend to have a higher percentage of their cabins as balconies. There are issues like the plugs as noted. Another option you could think about is also to get a longer USB cable.
On the flip side, newer ships are more expensive than the older ships on a per night basis, even for the same destinations.

I've been enjoying your EOS videos. We cruised EOS on our honeymoon in 1998 and will cruise her again for our 25th anniversary in 2023! Question: was the room door metal? Will magnets work on it? I'm thinking of doing cabin door decorations 🙂

Hi pal, the room was kept up quite nicely to be 25 years old! Just needs some more modern decor haha. And no old smells! Just smelt like a typical cabin.

Just got off Enchantment this morning. Yes she definitely shows her age, but a nice ship. Not too big, not too small.

@@ZachtheTravelingMan I was kinda disappointed in the fact that when I booked it was because you spend three days in Bermuda. Welllll you get there at three the first day and leave at one the last, so it's actually one full and two half. Still a great time, just thought it would be longer. Oh our cabin was on deck 2, but in the back and man the A/C was cranking so much we were freezing.
Mine was on deck 2 in the back also. I must have been on the wrong side haha.

It wasn’t bad at all. I usually stay up high and actually enjoyed it.

The turning fail might be to control how much air coming out the vents 🤷🏽♀️
Just returned from this cruise and I have to admit it was bad. Really bad. This ship is OLD. It looks OLD, it feels OLD, smells OLD, because it is VERY VERY VERY OLD. It’s like staying at motel 6. Do not recommend this ship to anyone.
