So I am looking to mod the same cab I just recently purchased with a raspberry pi. Once you install the new HDMI lcd controller board, is there ports for the stock speaker system and light up marquee. If not what’s the easiest solution?
i dont reuse the small screen it comes with i upgraded the whole screen with either a 19" or a 20" do a custom gloss black bezel. and make sure it have a dvi connection for the dvi to hdmi adapter you will need . speakers i get multi media speaker set up comes with 2 speakers and a sub with a nice volume control module i attach to front i dont bother with the cheap china amps or reuse the stock speakers and the sound is junk anyway i go with either logitech or cyber acoustic there around 40 50 bucks and sound great and plug right into pi
oh and the light up marquee you will have to reuse the adapter the arcade1up came with and splice the wires from the marquee into the adapter to light it up thats what i do just match up the black and red and wrap with electrical tape if your not handy with a soldering iron
Any chance can you help with the controller configuration for Nintendo 64?Pretty much the only system that I’m having trouble getting the controls right.
Bruhhh thats fiiiire!! How do I get all that on my arcade 1up! I just got one!! I need that Marvel vs capcom 2 in mine! Gotta show a tutorial please or what is needed! Plz n thanks!
I’m looking into buying a raspberry pi 4 since I saw that that was needed to hack a arcade 1up but idk what site to buy it on 😅 or even the right program to download to put into the raspberry pi 4
@@NPAFORLIFE dude raspberry pis are only supposed to be like 30-50 bucks but ever since the pandemic it’s like 150-250 bucks . It’s not worth it if you pay that much. Keep a eye out for a fair price bro
@@WestHaddnin yiiiikes yeeeah na def not worth it. Thanks for that! I wish instead of going through all that raspberry pi thing I wish I can just plug my arcade 1up to my pc and just download a program to it and download games regularly to it without having to go through the pi part and and switching out buttons haha ma work

Where can I get more information if I'm interested in something very similar to this?

Nice...I like it. Did you need an amp with the stock speakers, or just plug the connector into the pi?
