Thank you so much for sharing this tutorial. My attempts to learn crochet for flower embellishments for my knit items have not gone so well, so I really appreciate a knit flower design.
wow!!! Very easy.. I need to knit a flower and this really helps.. it would be easier to see if the thread being used is lighter other than the black yarn..
Not totally sure if this is the same pattern or not, but you can get this free one in my Ravelry store (as well as one other free one): www.ravelry.com/patterns/search#sort=best&query=Emi Harrington%2C knit flower%2C free pattern
Hectanooga1 - Crochet, Knitting, Jewelry, Crafts, Cooking Could I no more rows then cast off with smaller needles? If I did like 4 then cast off instead?

Well, it's not very difficult... cast on 36 stitches, cast off.. pass a needle through every 6th stitch, pull up to gather.... hopefully people will still be able to figure it out...
Hectanooga1 - Crochet, Knitting, Jewelry, Crafts, Cooking there's no need to be rude. It's true, using black it is hard to see what's going on. I understand cast on 36 and cast off but it's the actual 'making of the flower' that's hard to see as its black. When you said every 6 stitches but it's hard to see what's been done other than pushing them together. She was only saying using a different colour may help others to actually see the pattern.
Hi Colleen...So sorry if my reply sounded rude,,, it certainly was not meant to be. I always try to be kind, as this world needs as much kindness as it can get! Unfortunately, tone of voice can't be heard in a typed reply. Kind regards, Emi.
