Dearest Amy, I've been a silent viewer of your breast cancer journey videos and from the bottom of my heart, thank you! You don't know how much condolence I felt from watching them because I too am going through the same journey. I was diagnosed around the same time (biopsy results noticed on June 22nd of this year) but I had mastectomy first and just finished my 4th "red devil" last week and will be starting Taxol soon. I even shared you story with my family saying that should we have met in real life, we would've become good friends as I'm also Korean-American and in my mid-30s. I never ever write comments (this is my first) but hope you know how much impact you're having! Aja Aja fighting!

Hello, I hope you are keeping well. I have just read your comment and like you, my diagnosis was at the same time too. I’ve just completed four rounds of the Red Devil and starting Taxol and Carbo next week.
I’m not a social media user and this is my first time too sending comments.
I wish you well through your journey and if you know how to keep in touch via this method then please do let me know.
It’s so important to get sincere support with other women experiencing the same treatment journey. 💜

I am praying for you. Allow yourself the "luxury" of exchanging your feelings, no matter how bizzare or lowly you might feel with other ladies going through the exact same.
Having lived in Korea for a few years due to my husbands work we befriended many Korean couples, Korean-American couples and though all are very polite & friendly, we experieced first hand the "typical" expectation to "fight" and not be "lazy" of the family (mostly the mothers/in-law's) telling our friend who went through breast-cancer just that. Luckily that changed when the doctors had a talk with both mother/mother-in-law about these draining side effects and they then were more supportive when our friend underwent the treatment regiment! Allow yourself to rest when you need that & please reach out to others as it was so beneficial for our friend. Wishing you the very best and I am happily including you in my prayers.

Thank you for explaining all of that. I understand. It is hard not to do all the work I used to when just getting out of bed and going to the bathroom is a demanding physical endeavor! The Korean culture puts heavy emphasis on the woman to do all household and children upbringing but we really need the partners to help a lot more!

Lovely intro 🦒🦛 I am letting you know that I am not drinking much Plant-based Orgain.. I figured out that it doesn't taste that good as you said.. so true ✅ I am using another plant-based Protein powder that is vanilla flavored. It tastes a lot better. We have to keep trying new things 🤠
Your husband is really kind. It touched my heart when he was wearing the sweater.. so cute & amazing. Thanks for being on here. I like your style. 🌎

Hi Amy, hope your feeling well this evening. God bless you and your family. Im in your corner all the way, pink sister!
I had benedryl for the first time on my last treatment... it helped me rest when I arrived home. That was nice. I also started a medication to help with the neuropathy. I can tell you that my reation to the Taxol & Keytruda was less taxing on me this go round. I still have the numbing & tingling going on but its slowly easing up. Treatment was last thursday. I also took the flu & covid booster vaccines before I began treatment [not the same day as treatment]. It seems to all be working out okay. I do find myself with a lot less energy and had a few days in the bed just tired and sleeping. I managed to eat small healthy meals I prepared and stayed hydrated. Today makes 10 days since the last treatment. So, the update I received is that I may have only 2 more chemo's to go w/keytruda. Then a double mastectomy. I am okay with that & praying it all goes smoothly throughout & able to recover w/o any obsticles. I'll be praying for you to achieve the same. And I'd like to say to you, Congrats on passing the 1/2 way point dear!!! That's fantastic... I can see those pina coladas coming to your table now! Bravo to your husband as well, what a good man and supporter. Please keep me in your prayers and I look fwd to continuing to watch your success vids to the end of your treatments. I'll also keep you posted on mine! WE GOT THIS MAMA!!!!! 🥊🥊💕💗

Good to heart from you Amy. Wow they do take their time giving you your chemo. My hospital gets me right in and it takes them about 30 minutes or less to make mt chemo cocktails. they make them right there in the infusion center. I hope your next infusion goes well for you.Your girls are adorable.
