Hi Amy! I went through chemo in 2019 .I'm also a tnbc survivor ! The last chemo made me so exhausted like never before! But it will come to an end so keep your head up! I'm feeling myself again and trying to stay active! I can't believe it's already been two years ! Hang in there you're doing well 😘!!
Sometimes the side effects from chemo just beat you down…for me its neurophy in feet and bad leg muscle pain…i love seeing you and thanks for sharing your thoughts and your family. Prayers…
So happy to have found you and for your sharing this experience. I’m being treated at MDACC right now - completed 6 of 12 Taxol infusions and will do FAC after, before surgery and radiation. Its been helpful to hear about your experience while I am going through some of the same things but also to get a heads up on other things I can expect down the road. Wishing you good luck and good health through the rest of your treatment. 🤍
I am so thank for your sweet words because I was wondering if these videos were of any use. I’m sad that you are going through this experience with me but also glad that I could give you a heads up on other things. Please find me on Instagram and feel free to message me there!!
Thank you Amy I understand I am metastatic and i get depressed too. I had a lymph node taken off of the aorta of my heart a week ago today. Its been a rough week I got a blood clot in my arm and been fighting that since surgery too. The lymph node was cancer.I feel like i am losing ground. My back hurts more than ever now. Chemo is next week. Hope you start to feel better soon. Take care and stay strong
What a scary thing to experience. I am with you in this journey. I hope your body recovers from last week’s work. Praying for your chemotherapy to go well next week.
Hey Amy, just catchin up on ur vids! Thank you so much for post'n. I must say I hv been hvn seriously scary side FX. But hearing abt ur side FX lets me knw ...im not alone. I am preparing for Taxol [chemo#6] & Keytruda#3 this week. Im nervous & hv had some hesitations in my mind bc of my last treatment...it really tore me up smthg awful. My FX were, shortness of breath- had to use my oxygen everyday including while sleeping and still had low oxygen saturation lvl's, fire like feln's in my feet, wicked bone pain- especially in my legs, muscular pain throughout body, bad spinal pain, hot flashes, my mind was totally numbed out w/o normal thought, extremly low energy, bad thrush on tongue, extremly dehydrated and my stomach hurt so bad w/cramping - appitite was low. I wound up not sleeping well and with all the side FX of the Taxol & Keytruda. I cried, I cried alot. I'm single and don't have family that can help...so I'm gng this Alone...But, with God, everyday. I know it's power of prayer that gets me through & reading and watching vids, like yours, that pull me through as well. Im a bit anxious abt this week [Chemo#6 & Keytruda#3]. Ive had reservations but, I must troop ahead bc I know I need to for the cure. I hv thought abt the long term and short term FX from treatments & the FX on other organs and such, thats scary. I just know somehow that this too shall pass and life will get btr...for Me, You & All of us Fighters!!!! I believe my sister...forever! I'm glad that your on the keytruda, posting also & kick'n A** ♡ !!!! I hv you and your beautiful fam in my prayers....WE SHALL PREVAIL! We shall survive this & come out stronger. I just know it. Sending you Super strong Vibes & ♡ NYC Style ♡ God Bless You mama!!! Keep me in your prayers please & keep these vids gng - They're truly real & inspiring!
@@lesimpleholic Hi Amy, I’m faring well, praise be to God & Christ! Yesterday was my treatment and with a new approach …they added to my IV a few drips of a combo cocktail: Benadryl, a steroid, Pepcid w/ the Taxol & keytruda. Now I’m handling this whole this much better. My neuropathy is still in my feet and hands but not as bad. However the stomach pain is gone and burning sensation as well. I get pain in my muscles and bones but with Tylenol have been able to manage. I’m on my oxygen the first few days, all day. Also my memory is faded. So I’m always with my notepad on the phone and a hard copy and pasty note reminders everywhere lol. Tdy I got the news that I have one ☝️ more Chemo to go, yay! I will continue on the immunotherapy for a while after the double mastectomy- I’m choosing to go Flat. But will probably get the special bras to look fuller when I wanna show up with a lil smthg eye pleasing to my liking. Ya know, this experience changed my life. I can imagine how it has changed yours as well. I’m in prayers for you and your beautiful family all the time. I send you healing vibes, love and strong healthy happy thoughts of your upcoming days towards the cure mama! We got this!!! God bless you & I look fwd to sharing many upcoming convos abt how we kicked a** on this cancer and survived for decades upon decades after it all was through! 💝💓💗💖💗💕 My pink Sister from Texas! Amen!
I am happy that you are doing better. I never tried the Chemo you had, but I totally believe in what you are saying about the side effects. I feel like I am in a daze, and can't totally think well, but I am still there. My parents support me, and I am grateful for my family too. I am glad you have a beautiful family, I think it's really beautiful. 🏞

❤️ Go Amy! Have you thought about the option of asking the nurse to add liquor into your chemo transfusion? 😄
Hahaha you are funny. I’m not much of a drinker but after chemo is done, I may have to drink here and there before my mastectomy!
You're the best Thi Huynh. hahaha
