Dear Amy I am the lady who survived a stage IV cancer, who is also a P.A, commenting on your various videos for which we all thank you. Kudos to you, you look radiant.❤🌷Amy give yourself a lot of rest now and the coming weeks. I had 35 radiation sessions and 4 different areas of my body were radiated. I had bad skin burns especially in my pelvic area and right armpit! They came as a late "gift"! Yes I got very sore during but as radiation effects come later even weeks after, give yourself plenty of rest and lot's of TLC. Being tired is part of the effects too, embrace naps! Take high potency vitamin supplements, plenty of rest and keep lathering up you are doing a great job. I had a stemcell transplant soon after, so I was literally more dead than alive. My stemcell transplant knocked me out totally as there were little to no breaks in my tx. I continue to keep you in my prayers, tell your hubby I said, he has a trooper of a gorgeous wife and give yourself plenty of treats, spoil yourself. You are in my thoughts and prayers 🙏🌷❤✝️
Thank you for following along even if it opens up old wounds and memories from your journey. You are right about radiation. I underestimated the power of it! Even 1.5 months out from my last rad session, I am tired and having to take it slower than I normally would! I will definitely let my husband know. He has been the biggest trooper in all of this!
Amy, so good to see you here. You look amazing! Congratulations on completing the radiation session! You are so strong and amazing that inspires me to do better. My heart is with you 💕💕
Thank you for this video. I have the same kind of breast cancer, done with my chemotherapy. And I was extremely worried about radiation, as I have simulation tomorrow. This video just helped me to see that I'm not alone at this.
I only just now found your channel. Your videos are an amazing resource! I'll be helping out a friend who is starting chemo this week. It's so valuable to hear the lived experience of other patients. Thank you for providing links to the little things that have helped you. I'll be buying many as gifts to help out. I'm so happy to see that you made it through both chemo and radiation. Please keep us updated. Watching your journey has taught me so much.
You are such a great friend to be looking for ways to help your friend. Yes, little gifts can help a lot! I still regret not getting a backscratcher! I hope each video helps your friend to feel less alone.

@@lesimpleholic A blessing for the courage to try (and the wisdom to know when to stop) Blessed are you, faced with the impossible. You who do not take your eyes away from what threatens to swallow you whole. You who stare down reality, though your heart quickens. You for whom action comes swiftly, as you chart the next step or bulldoze a new path yourself. You know how to turn hope into action. And blessed are you who, when you’ve come to the end of what is possible, find the courage to live there too. Hi Amy, did u lose your hair when you had radiation? I know chemo does but what about radiation. I’m 43 and diagnosed with stage 1 invasive ductal . Can you tell me your journey please
I didn’t lose hair where others could see during radiation. I did lose it due to shedding the outer layer of skin on my scalp. It wasn’t bad since I had. A lot of hair growing back.
