I worked there at Crytek Frankfurt as Sandbox Editor programmer for over 8 years. I can confirm here, that people can learn a lot at Crytek, meet expert level people passionate about their topics they work on, like Vlad, Florian and others in this video. You can also meet good friends there. The company had its highs, for most of the time, sometimes difficulties, but it was a great experience, overall . I learned a lot, too. When a gamer play several games based on the same engine , they can feel some things they appreciate like animation, physics, collisions, AI etc ... More than just graphics . That game is also very inconsistend. Bad servers or a Random Number Game. We will never know because they dont tell. What they do though is blocking users that give honest feedback. Crytek will most probably never be what they once used to be.

Y ademas ganando dinero con superficialidades que aportan muy poco al juego. Lo que cuenta son estas cosas: 1. Nuevo Mapa 2. Nuevo Boss 3. Consistencia en jugabilidad por servidores estables (registro de disparos sin errores).
Really enjoying Hunt: Showdown. 500 hours in and I expect many more hundreds of hours to come!
I have well over 1000 hours in Hunt and still love the game. I've been playing pc games since the early 80's on a C64 and Hunt Showdown is in my top 5 games of all time.

It would be really cool if you guys could make an single-player open world FPS or RPG based on the Hunt: Showdown.
The world already exists. Just expand it and introduce a nice story backdrop and more menacing bosses. It will be awesome with all the shooting mechanics from Hunt Showdown and gorgeous graphics we know and love from Cry Engine.

Loved all the Crysis games...but the ending of Crysis 2 really made chills go down my spine when Prophet was Reborn. Crysis 4 would be awesome. But what I really want to see is Crysis 1 2 3 and Crysis Warhead all together in one package in some sort of remastered form for Xbox One and Xbox series X. All that code they're just sitting on and it's not generating any money for them and I think a Crysis Trilogy remaster would make them a ton of money.
Yeah homie , when i've seen Cry2 ending , with the guy who is supposed to be Alcatraz saying '' they used to call me Prophet '' , at first i thought Alcatraz took Prophet's name to continue his fight! But it was even more than that, Lawrence Barnes replaced him, Alcatraz was kinda dead from the start, and the suit can't let your body die , but Prophet was so long in that suit , he mastered it so much , with the alien contamination and all , he was deeply linked to his suit , the kinda soul mind and body shit !!

Hunt Showdown Best Game of 2019-2020 ! its Ahead of time ! Its Intense and brutal !!! The 3dart is amazing and the love for detail makes it stand out against any AAA Studio. Give these devs the love they should get because they made a game like no other game has ever delivered. I love the hunt showdown team . Hope to see more . Cheers from Belgium
3600 players playing now. The quality of Crysis and also Hunt is damn amazing. Gunplay of Hunt is really good but i feel this is the problem with Crytek. They have this amazing tech and talent, but the game concepts themselfs is what failing them. Crysis 1 was incredible until aliens showed up. Hunt Showdown is amazing but it should have been another type of game. No monsters, no dark mode and stuff like that. I really couldnt enjoy the game cause of this. When you look at Warzone you can see Crysis 1 from 13 years ago is way better and millions are playing Warzone. They just need to release a game that actually has a game concept that people can stand by and enjoy. Hunt Showdown as a plain western shooter with maybe BR elements in it would be incredible.

But you need to work on the clunky animations and models first.

I loved evolve so mutch. One of the best multi-player I have played so far. Only hunt showdown gives me that what I lost after evolve was "out"

Nano Synthetic Crytek has some kind Raytrace implemented so you don’t need those Tensor Cores. And THAT is something I definitely like because I have a RX5700 XT which competes at the moment with the Rtx 2060/2070 🤯😬

As someone who has been playing warface since release all I want to do is thank the developers of Warface as its the game I enjoyed most when I was younger and I still have some good memories from it.
Huge hunt showdown fan! Would love to see you guys double down on the development and content of Hunt! I can see the fan base getting a huge boost with the help of another big content drop. People are eating this game up and we always want more for it. Which shows the love for the game and the huge space it has still to grow! 1.3 will be great but we cant wait for more! Thanks!

Crytek, word of advice, if you're going to re-release Crysis 1, you better go all out with this thing. A simple remaster is not going to cut it, EVERYTHING needs to be overhauled, lighting, physics, movement, sound, and most importantly weapon mechanics, see the latest Modern Warfare, gameplay aside, this game has raised the bar in terms of weapon animation and detail.
Blow expectations out of the water, bring the pc's to their knees once again, take us to the next level of gaming technology!

@@TheGuitarnob cry1 was semi-open , i have all 3 Crysis lol , not warhead unfortunately. Yeah in cry1 physics where great and a lot of little house u can destroy but cry 2 and 3 are in a urban place so houses are in concrete and harder to destroy !! But it reacts greatly when being shot.
I think Crytek made cry2 so linear to match the COD series which are most linear than Tetris lol. And COD sells in dozens of millions, i think Crytek tried to give players a simple linear stuff like players wanted ...
In cry3 they made the perfect mix between the two (linear and open spaces). I love the three of them, no hate

Pretty awesome video guys. The only thing I would like to suggest is that you need to create more documentation, videos on how to do things with your game engine and engaged a bigger community. I started to learn about game engines because of you guys

Guys calm down. After the Crysis Remastered there will be another game for sure. Remember Darksiders games. There were two definitive versions first (Darksiders Warmastered, and Darksiders 2 Deathinitive Edition) , then with the momentum with those games we had Darksiders 3, Darksiders Genesis and we will have Darksiders 4 in the future. So I'm sure there will be a Crysis 4 or some reboot game after this one.
As kid back in crysis times I always wanted to work at crytek, I think its time to do next big game like farcry was, then crysis was and now lets do something new with formula of soldiers on nice beach island with monsters in second half of game! Still like to play crysis 1 and farcry more than any other game crytek made. Still playing with sandbox 2 editor gave me more insight into gamedev than any game school or getting degree ever would

Crytek came up with the Far Cry game and sold it to Ubisoft. But I have played 90% of those games. I am playing Crysis 3 currently, and I own a Vega 56 which Crytek used in the ray-tracing demo.
@Crytek I am a fan of your games and tech. But there is this game series that I have spent (literally) thousands of hours in and I would love for you to take a shot at something similar. The series is TES (The Elder Scrolls)
We have been playing Skyrim (latest version of TES) since 11/11/11. We have modded the crap out of it and fixed the bugs ourselves.
With your visuals, mechanics and dedication it would be an awesome game, add mod support for the bonus.
No I don't want you to get sued by Bethesda. But you can walk that line I am certain. With mod capabilities we will fill in the blanks, if any occur. God I wish Crytek had made Skyrim.

You guys are GODS of gaming and Crysis 2 is my fav game of all time & I hope you remaster that masterpiece. I own multiple copies of Crysis 1-3 & I will buy every remaster & of course desperately itching for 4. I also have said this for a long time, if there is anyone who can make a proper Aliens FPS and Terminator FPS, it would be Crytek. Imagine an Aliens vs Predator vs Terminator campaign/online/co-op, you guys will rule the world with that.

Hello Crytek, i have a lot of ideas for *Crysis 4*
It should be something between *Crysis 2, Ghost Recon Future Soldier* with partly destructive environment like in *Rainbow Six Siege*.
You would have people playing in *first person view in nanosuits* and people *without nanosuits but with cool gadgets playing in third person*.
You would have teams with 4 people who have an nano suit + 6 without nano suits + 6 bots without suits, you would mainly play objective gamemodes like power struggle, capture the relay, conquest, crash site or conquest. Bigger gamenodes include 20 alien bots that are aggressive against both teams.
The stealth mode in c3 was underpowered but armor was overpowered.
Killstreaks were 95% well balanced but we need more of them. and equipent that will be deployed by airdrop (no personal ordonance just neutral airdrops on specificpoints on the maps)
We need a few well balanced vehicles that you can use and shoot alone as well (its really important that the physics are good and the feel of driving is comfortable)
More alien class variety, interaction and tatical cooperation between aliens from different classes to hunt you down.
A coop horde mode like in halo with a variety of random choosed objectives 6 player coop. (Important if you dont have friends to play with you automatically get bots to fill the player slots that are free)
An forge mode like in halo: this is a huge project and you can release that later as a dlc (payed or not payed doesn't matter as long as it is good) all other dlcs should be either free and payed via cosmetic skins like in overwatch or via a season pass
We need a bigger pool of different weapons and attachments (no attachment should be usless because others are far better)
Sprint shouldnt drain energy
Throwing objects should be easier and more effective
We need more Teamplay and possibilities of interaction with your team, thats why we need non nanosuit users and bots with gadgets like ammo crates, sensor grenades, hacking abilities, fire cover, smoke(make them big or theyre useless), deployable shields, riot shields, shoot through wooden walls, sentrys, emp grenades, molotow cocktails, grappling hook, hologramm and more
All players (first person & third person) should use the same weapons
The maps should be a little bit bigger than c2 but smaller than c3. The edges of c3 maps were hardly used. (If you have more players and alien ai you of course need bigger maps than c2)
Maps should be mostly urban but asymmetrical.
Orient yourself on games like halo 3/4/5/reach, ghost recon future soldier, metal gear solid 5, titanfall 1/2, destiny 1/2, splinter cell blacklist, rainbow six siege, overwatch and battleborn.

The original devs behind the success of Crysis are most likely gone, Crysis 4 should be done later and properly, it's much easier to just do Crysis remaster for now, hopefully the spirit of the gameplay is not compromised and actually done the way it was meant to be, but it's still hard to emulate the feeling back than and put tons of extra polish on it right now, if there is some old developers still there I hope they really try to switch to the crysis mindset like it was back then and try to do it without any modern influences. I DO NOT want any likenesses to COD/BF/DOOM/ALXY/DESTINY it has to be completely DEVOID of any similarities from any other FPS or adventure shooter other than the core common infrastructural FPS mehanics that you can't really change.

I have just applied to Crytek. Like within the last 5 minutes and this is so exciting to watch, I can just imagine how amazing it must be to work at Crytek.

Funny thing today I was playing Hunt with my mate and I said to him that Hunt is hands down the best shooter game out there. Even better than Counter Strike. I hope they continue to build on top of Hunt.
