Looks great! This was exactly what I was looking for, just no nonsense classic pancakes but made with Chickpea flour. The chickpea is gonna give a protein boost to otherwise nutrient low pancakes, your addition of the blueberries is gonna add another dose of vitamins/ minerals and antioxidants, that's a really great idea.
Amazing!! They look so good! I have to make me some pancakes with blueberries and put them on a tray so I can enjoy them in bed! What a great treat! Thank you for the video and recipe! Take care and be safe! 😊💖🙏🏻
Thank you Kevin great wheat substitute to prevent flux/ heartburn. What if you beat the egg whites and fold them in , do you think that would make them fluffy?
What if I ground canned chickpeas to sub the flour? I think it's worth a try! A lovely video that's inspiring me to get in the kitchen, thank you Kevin!
I want to make savory pancakes with rosemary and use these little lovelies as a wrap. Thank you. I want to try making tortillas with my chick pea flour. Have you tried?
I'm Canadian and here I've only seen chickpea flour labelled as besan, which is the name used in India and Pakistan. In fact, the word garbanzo is not all that common here, though almost everyone knows what it means.
@@shericespygirl Interesting. I'm in the Toronto as well, in the Beaches, and have a bag simply labelled Besan. I probably first saw that name years ago and have always looked for it rather than for chickpea or garbanzo flour.
Kevin, can you please tell me what induction stovetop burner you’re using? I want one that holds even heat temperature. My cheap electric stovetop does not maintain say, medium low. It goes on red hot then shuts off. I burn onions I’m trying to carmelize. Can you share your brand and tell me if it holds more evenly? Thank you.
Looks so delicious! I actually have all the ingredients on hand (that never happens) so guess what I am having for breakfast tomorrow morning?! Could I use blackberries or raspberries for the sauce? Would the recipe be similar? Would love your feedback!
Hi Kevin, can you make garbanzo flour by getting dried chickpeas and running them through your food processor? I love your channel and all your wonderful recipes. sincerely Geraldine
Thanks for watching the video! You can grind dried chickpeas in a food processor, but you will need to sift out any hard, un-pulverized bits, and re-grind them in a spice grinder. (Easier to buy the commercially-ground stuff!)
The gravy bowl was not a surprise at all..I bet he has a lot of "old timey" stuff around the house...lol! I mean it in a good way. Matter of fact he reminds me of a neighbor who was originally from a small town in Texas ;)!
Hi Kevin, Those pancakes look so good. Thank you for sharing the recipe. God Bless.
This sounds marvelous.

Wow! Looks delicious! Thank you for this recipe as i am now living a gluten free life.
I like to make my blueberry sauce with sparkling spring water and agava.
I've been wondering what to do with my extra chickpea flour! These look great! Thankyou!

I've never made tortillas with chickpea flour.

Ahhh, what city are you in? I'm in Toronto and see the label chickpea (and Garbanzo) flour all the time. Even have 2 packs right now with that label.

Hi Sheila - Induction burner is by Tramotina. Not sure if still available. My cheap-o portable coil burner works quite well, and cost only $10!
Thank you so very much, Kevin. How kind of you to reply.
Thank you for sharing. Is that the juice of half a lemon or the whole lemon please?
I used the juice from half a lemon. If you want more lemon flavor, go ahead and use the juice from the whole lemon. Enjoy!
