    Brilliant hack thanks. I've got one for you, make car ramps out of ply wood. Works great especially for low riding cars and very cheap to make just using 16mm plywood sheet. Make them as big as you want too.

      Undoing the screw I was expecting oil everywhere, instead just as glugging sounds as if the engine was downing a pint haha

    This video was a continuation of part 1, obviously, how did you clean up all the oil from the rocker cover leak? Would using a pressure washer work? Great hack by the way, if they showed us that in physics/chemistry I might have listened more!

    • @Witty924
      @Witty924  Год назад

      Hi Carol, thanks for the comment. When you remove the rocker cover just use a razor blade to remove any debris stuck on the surface then rub down with scotch pad to get the surface nice and clean. Dont use any water or pressure washer. Before your remove the cover you can use brake cleaner to get rid of any oil that has leaked down the engine or a good degreaser would work well too. I remember chemistry with bunsen burners and magnesium being fun too 👍

    How many watts was the hoover that was used (for an idea of the power required)?

    • @Witty924
      @Witty924  Год назад +1

      Hi MM thanks for the comment. Just a simple Vax home Hoover that was a 1200 watts rating. Hope that helps 👍

    Did any oil go into hoover

    • @Witty924
      @Witty924  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hi Michael, thanks for the comment and support. No hoovers were harmed in the making of this video ;). To be fair the oil is to heavy but you will get a very light spotting at the Hoover end connected to the engine. Nothing a little bit of brake cleaner can remove once finished 👍
