How to connect your PC to WiFi without an Ethernet cable (FREE)

I always thought you needed a cable to connect your desktop to your wifi, but seems like it is much easier!

Why this didn't work for you:
1. Your cable should be an *undamaged 1 meter* (or longer) long cable.
2. You should have Android 6.0 or higher (less bugs)
3. As soon as you connect your phone to your desktop, you should enable USB Tethering (waiting too long before enabling it could cause issues)
4. Make sure the cable is not damaged in any way (very important)
5. If you connect your cable and you cannot see your phone folders on your PC, then your cable may not have the ability to transfer data from one device to another (which means that your wifi cannot transfer throught the cable to your PC... Having a 1 meter (or longer) cable often solves this problem)
6. If you're using Windows 7 (or lower), make sure to select "Home Network" when the computer asks you about your current connection

Make sure you have an updated OS (if Windows: Windows 8/10)
Make sure you don't have any internet demanding tasks in the background (torrenting can slow down your internet by A LOT), do an internet speed test on 2+ devices (including the PC you're trying to connect) to see if you're the only one with a problem. Make sure there aren't too many people connected to the WiFi at once

Thanks I connected my tablet to my old windows 7 computer I didn't do much it connected automatically

And with iPhone I need to download iTunes but how tf do I download iTunes on a computer with no internet and I try on my Android which has no mobile data and I connect it to my internet and try it there and it still don’t work it only shows the Ethernet option
