I went to Universal Orlando early in 2020 before the pandemic hit us to see the Wizarding World. The 5 days I spent there was amazing. Luna had a bit more story in the book. We didn't see Remus and Tonks deaths in the book either. It was kind of a sudden gut punch just like in the movie. Fred we did get to see die and Percy Weasley gets redeemed. To Voldemort the items from the founders were very important trophies. If anything other than power and immortality meant anything to Voldemort, it was Hogwarts. Like Harry, it was the first place that Tom Riddle felt like he belonged. The snake being a horcrux was desperation and Harry being one was accidental.
I genuinely love the movies even though I'll be criticizing them below and I highly recommend the books. They are stellar. The first, second and the fifth movies are the best adaptations imo. Really though from 3 on there is a LOT left out. Goblet of Fire and Half Blood Prince are the worst adaptations imo. They changed or left out way too much in the last 5 movies. It left a lot of people asking questions that are answered in tbe books or just left people confused or with misconceptions.

Watched this waiting for my COVID results outside of Baltimore Comic Con. Could’ve been longer.
