I didn't have my temp gauge go high, but my car smelled different, not burning though. My check engine light now reads P0326 knock sensor.

Sounds like an ignition, timing or fuel problem to me

Hi, my son have 2010 ford fusion hybrid, can you please tell me what to do, the engine overheated because my son put too much engine oil.

I don’t think it overheated from too much oil but if it overheated than at a minimum you have to replace head gasket and resurface head.
