I did the backpack trip last weekend that you gave me directions to. It was a fantastic hike although my tent was a little wet inside from an overnight downpour but no big deal. Thanks again for recommending those trails and through Grays Arch!

Grays is one of my favorites, I was just there yesterday myself.

Congrats on the finds, I have never hiked directly below Pinch-m-tight gap...assuming that is where you found them! There is supposed to be an old house foundation on the flat near Chimney Top Creek (other side of the creek from the gap) I have never found. I have found the gas well though.

I’ve not been down in that bottom much, but Thanks! The two Pinch Em Arches are believed to be the long lost Pinch Em FS Arches. They’re closer to what is now Rough Trail. Back before Rough Trail, Pinch Em Tight originally ran on down to Chinney Top Creek.
I’ve heard there’s an old home site there too.
There’s also an old home site down below Skyview where an old chimney still stands if you’ve not been in that area.

It could happen, I’ve bumped into several folks on trail that’s recognized me.
A lot of my Gorge visits are through the week so I don’t run into too many folks tho.

You ever find any Indian artifacts in the RRG area ?

      I’ve not seen any.
I’ve found places where people have dug for them tho (illegal in National Forest.)

You state in a previous video about several arches you have seen that about 4 or 5 of the arches are on the land that the new resort is supposed to be built. Did you have to get permission to hike there? Can others hike there?

They do guided tours on the property.
I think it’s called the Arch Overload Tour, here’s the website.

A LiDAR map. There’s several places you can find LiDAR maps online.
The map I’m showing while talking is a map overlay you can download to GAIA.

@@ExploringWithDRob Indeed, it would be nice to have an arch named after oneself!
