- What if one day you played Splatoon 3 but Angle Shooter was OVERPOWERED and could one shot ANYONE! That was the case with this new Drizzle Season Challenge where for a short time you could use Angle Shooters that would splat in one shot. If this was the norm then Splatoon 3 would be a very broken game...

Dude, that entire challenge was crazy. Like at any moment you could get sniped outta nowhere.
The time frames for these are so annoying. I wanted to play this so bad but i was just busy every time frame

I always loved the concept of angle shooter being an instakill. Glad they made that a challenge.
Imagine if they made a night mode of the map and added a bunch of neon lights and some more cover. Splatoon laser quest! Maybe allow moon jumps too because why not :D

@lamegamertime ...I mean, it took an absurd amount of Golden Eggs just to get a spaceship up there. (Presumably every egg we gathered in Splatoon 2.) Can't imagine how well an entire stage would go.

@@luigiganggamernumber1tpc That's because angle-shooter doesn't one-shot. This is a special game mode, which only appears on rare occasion (sadly).

I was laughing my ass off during the entirety of this challenge. One of the silliest challenges yet and I hope these challenges are replay-able in the future because this was so much fun lmao

I love how angle shooter went from a dart to a bullet
At first I thought this challenge was just angle shooter weapons only. The first time I was hit with an angle shooter, I had just taken a hit and I was a bit confused as I thought I'd healed enough to be safe, but chalked it up to not being used to angle shooter 40 damage. Then I hit someone with an angle shooter and clipped it, thinking that I had just gotten lucky enough to hit someone who was low already.
And then I realized.
I was really stupid early on in this challenge but the moment when I realized that I could 1 shot with angle shooter was priceless. This was easily my favorite challenge, far more than high jump (though I'd like them to combine high jump and angle shooter please and thank you)
I wouldn't be too surprised if this is a sorta test to see if they can get away with a total line marker rework
Maybe each time the angle shooter bounces, it gains +20 damage
This challenge looks like it was INCREDIBLY fun, it really sucks that I missed it because of the horrible scheduling challenges have :(
It seems good but it actually sucks really bad. Imagine 4 e-liters targeting you at all time, that's the challenge.

I didn’t get to play this sadly, but I just had a thought abt splatoon 2 hallway maps like portmack and walleye- and how hilarious it would’ve been to play this challenge on those maps

I think this challenge is them debating on if they want to just make angle shooter a 1 shot bc they balanced it pretty well making it take around 70-75% of ur ink tank and then u can debate on it u want to use it for quick paint like a burst bomb or go for a free kill with it. Plus they keep bugging the damage so obviously they want to do something to it. It’s a pretty fun sub that I do want to see succeed
instant death larger than e-liter range and bounces off walls with no charge time would be funny though
these challenges gives people the opportunity to practice sub weapons and specials. feels intentional of nintendo

This one was hilarious, makes me wish dart did over 50 damage normally so it could be used as an expensive 2 shot snipe for whatever weapons have it
I would like to see it do up to 45 damage, but with sub power up it could increase the amount of damage it does, so if you have 3 subs it goes up to 50 damage, so you could kill with 2 darts. With even more you could combo with splattershot pro. To be honest if they made it flat out combo with the pro it would become an op weapon, especially since it has crab. if you want you could stack sub power up but you will miss out on other perks
This was by far my favorite challenge. It was just pure chaos as everyone tried to get a kill with an angle shooter 🤣

This challenge was the equivalent to real life laser tag.
I loved this challenge so much. I've been using blob with thermal ink since S2 and between that and all the tracking from the dart noone was able to hide from me. Out in the open? Get darted. Hiding behind cover? No you're not, get bubbled
It so wholesome seeing DUDE just having the time of his life with this challenge. His laugh is infectious.
mann the sonic music in your videos always give me the most intense nostalgia. imagine being in the back of your parents car running through sonic advance 3 levels on your gba and messing with different character combos

They should have a challenge take play every Saturday and cycle them through every Saturday so it isn't just you miss it and it's gone. Then they should have special first appearances of challenges that are longer than usual.

I would’ve loved it if these costed as much as a suction bomb but oneshot.
This was my least favourite challenge except the “get the highest power challenges” because I played slosher deco so I couldn’t use zip caster and I was one shot out of nowhere but it still wasn’t awful I sucked with it and my enemies didn’t 😅

It's good Nintendo did not announce the Challenges on multiple channels, like the Announcement App on Switch or the Switch Online App. 👺
And yes, I did not know the existing or the times of this Challenge. But I already ignore them anyway, because I want to play games I want to play and not those they ask for a specific time. I guess it is a attempt to recreate the Satellaview from the SNES. 🤷
I love how this challenge makes the Mark Applier turn from a mid sub weapon, to an E-Liter 2.0, and actually makes it fun to use.
Too bad that the challenge time windows strikes again into making me miss this one out too 🥲
