For me, its blasters advantage state being too strong. 70 dmg shots work on slosh because its a projectile you have to hit in real time, the aoe property of blasters eliminate that requirement. Then couple it with this things HUGE radius... A lot of times, i sit at the weapon screen and wonder what they're thinking. Why dies a medium range blaster have one of the largest hitbixes in the game? I couldnt tell ya. But its nerf is like, a so/so kind if win because its still a goat. The kit alone pushes the obj lol. But atleast i can probably escape their range now....
Yeah the whole reason you didn't see Range Blasters running around in Splatoon 2 was because of Ink Armor. What happens when you take Ink Armor away? You get what we have now 😊 The weapon is still probably the 3rd best mid-line in the game, though at least the nerfs give it some semblance of a weakness (albeit very slight).
