    All your plants are looking amazing, great restyle, as a tip, the cutter on the wire reel, you place the wire in and then push down on it like and it slices the wire that way, instead of just pulling it in ^_^ saves having to carry the scissors around when pinning stuff up

    Hey plant sista! Looking beautiful as always! My tetrasperma that I bought from you is doing amazing! It’s probably close to 4ft tall? I’m thinking it needs a haircut though so I can get some bushy growth. Do you put your props in water or sphag moss? Gotta love the Jacks! It’s definitely a game changer!

    • @plantluxxe
      @plantluxxe  2 года назад

      Hi! Thank you for the update! They are super fun plants! I have tried propping both ways. Water is easy and fast. Sometimes you get a little rot though… Sphagnum moss is always a win. Hope you’re doing well! Thanks for watching and commenting…. If there’s anything you like to see or lean let me know. Did you Put her on a moss poles yet? 🪴❤️🌱

    Is there any rule on when you should or shouldn't trim/prune back a plant? My tetraspermas are all really long and I didn't repot during the summer/spring but now we've come into "winter" in Brisbane and I'm afraid to do anything. They're really lacking structure and I would love to repot, give them a post to climb and trim a bit, but I'm afraid the time of year is not good to do anything. Even though it's not really cold in Brisbane, I assume the plant still has a slower growth time. Any advice?

    • @plantluxxe
      @plantluxxe  7 месяцев назад

      Hello!
      Yes, you could trim it and propagate the cuttings and create a fuller plant. This time of year is a good time to do it. Place the cuttings in water. Refresh the soil. Place in a controlled environment…sunlight is key. Warmth is key. Use a heating pad if it’s too chilly. I was thinking about doing a new video about this because I have some new suggestions. Would you be interested in watching another video about it?

    Good morning beautiful,
    Question? I have a rhaphidophora tetrasperma but mine has only two splits in the leaves, is there another variety that gives three splits like yours or is mine lacking something?

    • @plantluxxe
      @plantluxxe  2 года назад +1

      Hi Nina! It might be the maturity of the plant? Can you DM me a picture of it?

    Hi Krista. Great video. Question: do you ever get any small white bugs crawling around in your philodendrons soil? I can't tell if I have soil mites or gnats chilling in there. Thanks

    • @plantluxxe
      @plantluxxe  2 года назад

      Hi Aaron. I think I know what you mean. The best thing to do in this case is to remove the soil and replace it with fresh soil. Philodendrons are fairly resilient, so don't be afraid to completely wash away as much soil as you can in the sink. Completely replace it with fresh soil. Keep me posted how it turns out. Thanks for watching and commenting!

      @@plantluxxe Thanks for your reply. I see other RUclipsrs say that they maybe Springtails, and are not very harmful. It just looks crazy to see a mob of bugs crawling around the soils surface.

    How do you secure the pole!! I have a giant pot & maple pole ready but I just dont know what you use to secure the damn pole!!

    • @plantluxxe
      @plantluxxe  2 года назад

      Hello! The pole is secured bc it’s surrounded by soil. It’s a wooden stake. If you have a moss pole, I recommend placing a bamboo rod or synthetic rod down the center, or zip tie it to the outside if the pole is already assembled. Good luck and let me know how it goes. Thank you for watching and commenting❤️🪴
